I said this too but I think it's because it's an exit storyline for Joe Gill. That's why he's got a boyfriend parachuted into his lap like this, someone to take him away from the misery of the village.

Well I'm starting to root for Chrissie. How is this revenge plot even supposed to work? Chrissie doesn't even own HF. Lawrence does. Is Rebecca's big plan to oust him too so she can set up with Robert of all people? Can the writers even make up their minds because one minute she's setting up with Ronnie which I presume is supposed to show how much she cares about him then the next she's happily turning on her family. and his money is made in a business separate from HF (or have the writers forgotten that much). Are they planning to take over that too? And they've always suggested Chrissie has her own businesses even though granted we never see them. So how is getting her out of HF supposed to be this big revenge? I mean more of a revenge than getting Lachlan banged up?

I didn't like to think so, but I'm beginning wonder if this whole kiss reveal is a set up to make Chrissie think Robert and Rebecca are on the outs? It's the only thing that makes sense if they're still working together and the writers are hellbent on making Aaron jealous and insecure over Robert and Rebecca. Not that I should expect this plot to make sense anymore. Which means, what? That Robert is fine with Aaron being humiliated in public as long as it means he gets his hands on HF? I mean that sounds very Robert, but it does make me wonder if these spoilers are correct why they think Aaron going through with a wedding after this won't make that whole event kind of suck and make him seem like a mug? Because it doesn't exactly sound like Robert is going to showing much respect for either him, his feelings or their relationship in the coming weeks.

Yep that's what I thought when I saw the audition too. The audition script had him as this ambitious person so maybe it'll take Finn out of the doldrums of Emmerdale.

You really expect EM to go that deep into things after their latest storyline offerings and writing?

Though how amazing if they did. It is totally right how ridiculous they have never really showed Aaron getting any professional help over things, even as far back as when the s/h started cus fair enough he went counselling, but we saw him go to ONE session...i know he went to a few more but not many and we never saw them. How great would it be to see him actually get some help and go over the issues he has.

My lord I will always be bitter that ED have not got Aaron professional help after everything he's been through.. I quite frankly find that disgusting that the aftermath wasn't played in a realistic way of him getting help what's more shocking is the fact the show used "I have a councillor" when Cain caught him self harming on his birthday this year.. yet they haven't actually followed it up, that yes a character like Aaron who self harms & went through rape as a child by his father, then went through the traumatising ordeal of putting him behind bars absolutely is in need of professional help

This is what i am struggling with too because I've already started to think the marriage at this point just isn't ideal anymore. I already think Robert has been sufficient enough inappropriately behaved to not really be into a wedding so all this stuff over the next few weeks isn't helping that at all...especially if it tuns out he worms out of the kiss drama and theres dishonesty between them. I struggle with the wedding lately i must admit and if the spoilers go this way that will be ten fold.

Yep. Honestly why does anyone want to stay in that village I don't know. I'd be out of there ASAP .

Can I just say again Pete and Moira *vom* .

Do you think this all ends when Aaron and Rebecca put their differences aside or do you think that's one of Rebecca's games as well? It doesn't feel like she's ever going to stop!

Is Joe Gill leaving

Anyway who bets with me that Becky's endless attempt at seducing Robert is that She totally undressed herself in front of him thinking that he won't be able to resist her anymore lol.'
I could bet on It. She is so the type of girl doing It.

I know I'm also more concerned about Bernice and Jimmy Please don't tell me that she starts developing feelings for him!! I love Bernice and she could do so much better than him

Danny will say (more or less) what the Emmerdale people tell him to say. After all they pay his wages. He will attempt to keep the Robron fans happy (and voting for all things Emmerdale in the TV awards).

Danny's comments will be something like this ... 'it was always going to be a rocky road for Aaron and Robert ... there were always going to be good and bad moments ... I know the Robron fans are not happy with what has happened with Rebecca ... Robron will survive this ... please don't jump ship ... please keep watching ... please keep voting for Emmerdale in the new year TV awards ... there are twists and turns coming up ... and a wedding ... blah, blah, blah and blah, blah, blah.'

In other words something very similar to what Maxine said the other day to that very upset fan.

I hope I am wrong but it's a clear possibility that Emmerdale has been preparing Robron fans for something we will not like. We have been played like violins and I don't like it.

Why is someone being gay treated differently to someone being straight... to me it's no different to let's say Ross helping a woman and she "just happens to be straight".....

I don't understand why people seem to be under the illusion there can't be more than one or two gay characters in a soap without it becoming "unlikely".....

Plus what has Robert really got to get revenge on Chrissie for? It can't still be about Andy. Lachlan's already banged up. She has more right to seek revenge on him than he'll ever have to get revenge on her. I mean she was a lot nicer to him than he deserved after finding out about the fake robbery that almost killed her dad and the affair. Hell when she found out Aaron and Robert were possibly getting back together she was even very civil about that.

I'm pretty sure Aaron is still supposed to have a therapist. Didn't he assure Cain he'd be seeing them after he caught him trying to burn himself?

No but they might reach an understanding if she apologises, explains herself, says it won't happen again etc. I think that's how it will go, it is whether she means it or not that I'd be sceptical about

Maybe so, but look how he reacted when he found out she was hooked up with Andy. That wasn't any of his business, but he still decided to make it his.

TBH I think ED are paving the way for a R/R relationship something like him coming full circle and back in home farm, with Chrissie fighting against them.

Hopefully, surely it can't go on much longer, she either gives up or they have an affair and I'm pretty sure they won't do that

He was lying to Cain, so that he wouldn't tell Chas.

That was understandable to me that was his brother who he had a huge rivalry with. If it was anyone else he would not have cared.

I dont have any sympathy for any of the Whites. They are all awful. Chrissie enabling her psycho son is her worst feature.

Ross, I hope. On NYE the Whites have a party which Ross seems to be at, so hopefully her head is turned by him.
