Yes Ryan auditioned for the role of Ross originally.
I don't know if you remember the original Roberts like Mum2. I don't but I can't see anyone else playing him now

Don't you think it was amazing that they used Robron in that pub quiz. Because the point of that whole plot seemed to be highlighting issues between David and Tracey through another couple knowing each other way better and working together better. (along with Rebecca seeing them happy of course). Or, if that wasn't the point, that's how it ended up coming across. And it was Robron in that situation. Robron.

Yes strange that cos I remember thinking it would have been more likely to be Pete but KO then thought of Robert and how right she was although there were five others going for it.

I think people are applying too much real world logic to this story when clearly that's the last thing that applies since I'm pretty sure this isn't how people generally go about buying and preparing a home for themselves, relying on impulsive robberies and spur of the moment business deals, one person buying the house and their partner finding out afterwards (did they even go and look at the place properly, talk to a surveyor etc. anything like that before buying it, actually bother to find out how much repairs would really cost beforehand?), especially when they've planned on getting their own place for quite a while, plan to get married and both supposedly run good businesses and already have a fair amount of personal wealth. Aaron bought the house and the focus was on Aaron and Liv, I assume, because they had to get Aaron to spend Gordon's money for the symbolism or whatever and Liv and her needs were the catalyst for that. But he presented it to both of them. So until they decide for the drama later that Robert has to be cut out of things I'm going to assume in Emmerdale logic that means all three legally own the house. Or maybe just Liv does since for some reason she can't be secure if all three own it apparently.
And honestly Robert's excuse for doing pretty much everything these days, good and bad, is that he's doing it for 'Aaron' which I guess is supposed to show his commitment Aaron and be romantic (or just a get out of jail free card) so I don't think it means much more than that here either. I don't think it mean he wasn't supposed to be part of the process or that he was only actually doing it for Aaron and not for himself as well especially since buying The Mill and using Gordon's money to do it was initially his idea. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Quote:
Andy, I completely agree with you, Aaron has paid the deposit, we don't know whether the remainder of the balance is Aaron/Liv share of their inheritance + Robert although as you state Robert alluded to the fact that he would pay the renovations so we are currently making assumptions he isn't contributing (has he ever said he doesn't have any money??)
We also don't know who will appear on the deeds of the property, property can have multiple people on the deeds. Also, if Aaron and Liv are on the deeds and Robert isn't then once Robron are married Robert will legally be entitled to a proportion of Aaron's estate if they separated or divorced, that should be enough. I get frustrated with people stating that the writers are disrespecting the fans, to date and I would say pretty much since the abuse reveal Robron have been well written and exceeded most expectations. When this thread has gone in mega-negative mode due to spoilers its pretty much always been better on screen, when something has happened on screen that the thread doesn't like the issue/problem has usually been resolved well above our expectations. In general I feel the writers and IanM have delivered a fabulous Robron story since Aaron told Robert about the abuse. !) absolutely NO show-based explanation of where said money has gone. * And for 'forgetting to remember' actually read selective memory or convenient memory lapse syndrome ![]() Quote:
I always thought they were just supposed to have an affair nothing more than that. But once they saw the reaction to Robron they kept it going. I dont think it was supposed to last as long as it did, the affair. I also thought the lodge was supposed to be the end of Robron for good.
I cant imagine him as Ross at all. haha. |

I voted the blue suit for Aaron and the leather jacket for Robert though I desperately wanted to vote both of Rob's suits too.
Is Cain setting people to beat up Lachlan in prison? Seems very random to me as Cain hasn't really reacted at all to Lachlan thus far. ![]() The quotes one is hard as I love them all, I had to go with R: "I dont want easy, I want messed up..." & A: "I mean it, I loveyou" ![]() Quote:
