It's not just a Christmas party, the cast is now on their well deserved 2 week break.

Thank you for the spoilers and for the pictures

My guess is that Lachlan intends using being kidnapped by Aaron as mitigation for his own crime (though that happened way before the kidnap), and Cain threatens him via Chrissie.

Regarding Ryan as "Ross" - how would they have explained two dark haired parents, two dark haired brothers and one fair-haired brother?

Ross is such a ratbag he needs to look like he does.

The TV listings for the first week of January are all out on Friday December 23rd at least that is their aim, but at this time of year it sometimes goes wrong, but yesterdays Daily Mail published a TV guide till January 2nd, and I can exclusively reveal that "Kerry" - drunk as usual - is the latest person to be abducted in a car, which seems to be a sport or pastime exclusive to that part of Yorkshire....

Suppose it's possible but I'm not sure, as he hasn't yet even mentioned it to anyone, that Lachlan would bring up the kidnapping again, although I have no other ideas (clever or otherwise) about what Cain's involvement could be to do with, Although if it is the kidnapping I hope we get an explanation of those disembodied feet, which are still bugging me!!

Well i am shocked, i am appalled, i am very unhappy. I can't believe my eyes. This is absolutely absurd.

The green jumper has got on the shortlist.

This just doesn't make any sense. How could it happen

I don't see how they could ever really revisit that ... there is no proof, and apart from Victoria seeing him at the lake, no-one other than Rob/Aaron knows he was ever in the boot. Also if this were the case, wouldn't Lachlan have said something a long time ago - who is going to believe him

Thank you for that - although whoever wrote the Sun article clearly isn't a fan of proof reading as it's got mistakes in it ... who is Michael Charnock - maybe Mark Charnock's twin brother

Is it possible that Cain gets involved with Chrissie because Lachlan intends to defend himself by saying that he shot his grandfather because he was stressed from being abused by Robert, his former step father? Is Aaron asking his uncle to help Robert?

Alternatively, is this all about Cain just wanting to force Chrissie to sell him her share of the garage? Cain wanting to give it back to his returning daughter.

Just wondering.

That BIB seems plausible and again (like the kidnapping) I'm not sure they'd bring up the threatened abuse allegations again, and I think a bit more would have been made it of spoiler-wise if that was the way they were going.

Pure speculation on my part like I often do.

There were press spoilers posted here in the early hours mentioning Can and Chrissie in the second week of January. I'm trying to guess what is going on and those are 2 of my theories.

As wiggles247 says, the second one is more plausible.

Don't panic Andy; Ed Balls didn't win Strictly and Donald Trump didn't....Oh scrub that.

Do you think that deleted scene is the only Robron scene outside the Dingle family meal?

I know people have said there must be a scene before to explain the jumpers but isn't the way that Aaron wishes Robert a Merry Xmas suggesting it's their first scene? Though either way, it will still be nice to see them at the Dingles as a couple and little family. With Robert sticking out like a sore thumb LOL. As if he thought he'd ever be having Xmas dinner at the dingles

In the picture at The Woolpack for the 4th/5th January, Robert looks like he is dressed to go to a wedding rather than a casual drink/meal or holiday - thoughts anyone ??

I did think that when I saw those pictures (and totally shallow sidebar doesn't he look fab in said pictures) but I'm not sure of the significance - suppose he could have arranged everything for a surprise wedding but with everything else he's got going on in the next few weeks (and with the simultaneous Christmas-N.Y peak in planned for years weddings and the shut down/people not around as much over the festive season) it just seems more than a little unlikely (not that that would be a barrier to it actually being the case on Emmerdale obviously

It would surprise the fandom but I agree if I were ED I would milk the wedding to maximise viewing figures, Robron are so popular and a gay wedding would be an extra draw ++ all the usual drama BUT you never know.
