Can't watch tonight's Emmerdale until later as off to Xmas do, but I read that Aaron talks about Jackson. Looking forward to seeing it. Even though Robert is obviously the love of his life, I liked Jackson, and found his story heartbreaking. It would be nice to see something with Robron talking about it after the Laurel scene, just because it would be a good parallel between now and last year when Robert was really vile about what happened to Jackson. (And because it's always lovely to see Robert looking out for Aaron). But either way I think Danny & Charlotte's performances will be making me cry!

Saw the Xmas pic as well Really really hope they get to have a happy Xmas day together, before the paranoia story crops up again after New Year.

I agree he was great as stand-in Aaron, and easy on the eye. (“Andy Carver” in Coronation St is quite nice too!) But Danny is irreplaceable as half of Robron- I can’t imagine anyone else having quite that magic with Ryan’s Robert.

I really don't think anyone other than Danny could re-create the chemistry that he has with Ryan.Most of the magic of Robron is down to Danny and Ryan's chemistry and partnership

We're on the same page in all of the above. I liked the Aaron scenes but they didn't feel natural, I think particularly as Jackson hasn't been mentioned in well over a year. Maybe it was always going to feel clunky, idk. Maybe it's because it feels odd to see Aaron opening up to someone he never shares any scenes with so it didn't feel natural that he'd be so candid about it with Laurel. But anyway, that's the Jackson mention done with - next one in 2018?

I think Robert is the love of Aarons life but it must be a bit strange for him in that if he hadn't did what he did then he wouldn't be with Robert at all.
