Bex isn't great at taking the hint. She is the one seeking him out for "reassurance". It's not like he'll have invited her back there.

He's probably trying to get her to leave and she's flat out ignoring all of his attempts to do so because she's too busy interpreting his "I think it's a good idea if you go now, Aaron will be back any second" as "clearly he wants me to kiss him just like the good ole days"

Interestingly Thomas is only playing someone a couple of years younger than him - he turns 18 this year and isn't Lucky meant to be 16 now??? And I personally think he does a brilliant job of playing him too - the only thing I think Emmerdale (and it is them rather than him) have got wrong is not explaining how and why he's suddenly got so muscular (and it only needed to be a throwaway line about him going to the gym in the holidays, after college etc so wouldn't be hard to do either).

Morning all how is everyone what do we think of the spoilers. Am so pleased that it's obvious Robert rejects her and we know Aaron finds out phew. But do we think Rebecca gives up because I am a bit worried she will keep going and going till she seduces Robert. The only positive is Aaron does find out. Ryan interview I know he is talking in relation to that week and he says that Robert and Aaron are happy to be engaged and get married. But his line does bother me, I know he is teasing and it's in relation to whether Robert will ultimately remain faithful in Aaron and I do think he means in general and cant answer that but it does worry me a bit. I am a worrier lol.

I personally don't think there's anything to worry about re. Rebecca/Robert

and am also confident that Robert won't cheat with anyone for at least the next few months - at least until the 'proper' honeymoon period has ended. After that, who knows (because it is a soap and we all know how much soaps love [and in my opinion over-rely on] their infidelity storylines) but I would really hope that (like my idea of a wedding that goes without any real hitches) the PtB confound all our expectations and (in a radical soap first*) have Aaron and Robert as a couple who don't cheat (because, shock horror and pick your jaw up off the floor, they DO exist). I wouldn't mind a bit of temptation every now and again and wandering eyes would also be allowed as long as they resist and come back to who they're meant to be looking at


* because serious question here can anyone think of a (recent) soap couple** (who've been together for longer than 5 minutes, so David/Tracey don't count) where cheating hasn't been an issue???? I can think of a few 'golden oldies' who I'd imagine didn't - Emily and ?Ernest Bishop, maybe Stan and Hilda Ogden but as for more up to date pairings, I really can't think.

The spoilers are abit confusing.

What will Diane hear that disgusts her so much why's Robert worried that she seen the kiss & tell Aaron (I mean why would she really) what's the plan with Bex & Robert, seen as things are moving forward (for now) with Lachlan getting done, what else do they have up their sleeves. Oh & why's Bex sat comfortable on their sofa looking as tho she's laughing at Roberts jokes lol.

I'm intrigued to how Aaron finds out.. I don't think Diane knows about her trying to kiss him. I can't see Robert telling him either. But a Aaron/Bex convo.. I simply can't wait for that

Why is so much of the fandom obsessed with cheating.. maybe I'm daft but i think there's plenty of things to be done with the boys through drama & break ups that doesn't involve.. cheating! ED really have no reason to take this popular couple down that road.. I mean seriously no reason, soap or not.

The way it reads in IS is that Diane is annoyed that Robert is plotting with Bex as she knows nothing about the Deal Robert has with her.

I think Diane is disgusted that Robert appears to be talking with Rebecca period. Because she is a White and they are the enemy after what happened to Andy.

And I think Robert is worried that Diane might have misinterpreted the one sided kiss as something Robert was into and would pass that version of events to an insecure Aaron, who isn't known for his calm and reasonable reactions to such things.

That's what confuses me lol, Bex has outed the whole thing why would she be mad with her.

Why not? Robert gets pissed off at her for outting the whole thing - he's not grateful. Why should Diane be? The fact that she's a White might be enough for Diane to consider her the enemy no matter what.

I find some of this stuff interesting but not quite sure at all of Rebecca's motive in it all.I can't get a handle on her at all and I just don't take to her.For some reason I don't even think she fits into the White family,it all feels disjointed and forced to me.And in addition,I don't really rate the actress too much as I find her a bit stilted or something.Either that,or I just think she isn't suited to ED or something

I agree. Maybe further down the line I'll change my mind about her but at the moment I can't take to her - I don't particularly like those spoilt princessey types. I preferred the actress when she was in the Inbetweeners

As I said wouldn't really mind this because it seems highly likely and very realistic that in 50 years+(! you would find someone else attractive and be tempted to stray, although I do wonder if they'll flip things from what we'd expect and have it be Aaron rather than Robert.

I always thought he would go the suicide route tbh, he seems very unpredictable and mentally unstable. I think he has been filming lately tho so either ed are playing tricks with us, having himnturn up at the studios or he gets off with it. I would like to see the back of the Whites full stop. I wouldn't mind Lawrence stayin and revisiting his story woth Ronnie as I find him ok when hes away from the poison.

I dont watch eastenders so can't really compare. I turned off when the whole Ronnie/Kat baby swap story was starting and never ever went back!

That spoiler makes more sense as to why Dianes disgusted with Robert, she wont want him in cahoots with that familynas she wont trust them.

I see by that that hes done some scenes with Charlotte, that should be interesting, i like when they mix up the character groups. Like when we had Aaron/Edna scenes, loved that

I agree Amy. Linda and Mick in Eastenders have plenty of drama whilst remaining faithful to each other. Cheating storylines are just lazy writing IMO. I know we've had unnecessary affairs and people splitting up recently like Rhona and Paddy (although I do think Pierce is easy on the eye ), Zac and Lisa and Cain and Moira but I'm hoping that the Emmerdale writers realise that Robron, the couple they created, are just TV gold and give them drama and angst without it involving cheating.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this story pans out which hopefully will put an end to Rebecca throwing herself at Robert! I'm also looking forward to Aaron confronting her (which I'm sure won't be done in a malicious way) and i'm especially looking forward to Maxine's episode on Tuesday 29th November 😀

Yeah I agree about Lachlan although I don't think people should be saying they actually want him to commit suicide.He is mentally unstable though and I feel quite sorry for him.I know that's not a popular opinion.Oh does it say Danny has filmed with Charlotte ? I agree that it's great when they mix up the characters a little bit and I think Charlotte is really good

If he is planning it over Xmas then it could be sooner than we think. I hope we get a wedding date. Also I agree with Danny that them going off and getting married on their own would be very them.

I cannot with people taking Ryan's interview as gospel that Robert will for sure cheat. Lawd he knows its a soap and he cant promise anything. But for now he aint cheating. Fandom is so exhausting.

I am going to be a bit controversial here, but I suspect – for reasons I know not – that there is a lot of peer pressure within the cast of Emmerdale, to rush off to the gym,like compulsory PE at school – Michael Parr, Kelvin Fletcher, Adam Thomas and Danny Miller and Tom – if I might say so – seem to spend far too much time there. I don't think a gym has ever been mentioned even in Hotton?

I don't follow the other soaps all that clearly, mostly I watch on You Tube the storylines which interest me, but characters like Lee, Jonny, Paul, Ben and Jay (Eastenders) Todd and Billy, Andy and Tyrone (Coronation Street) or John Paul (Hollyoaks) don't seem to be big and beefy. I actually think they look better for being more ordinary, because most of us who work every day don't have time to admire ourselves in front of gym mirrors. I find it a bit narcissistic frankly, though that takes nothing away from their acting. I did 17 hours yesterday and will do 15 today lots of other people do long days as well,so don't get time for such self-indulgence.

My problem is less with the physicality of Kirin and Lachlan, but the fact is both were/are too knowing and self-assured to be 18 year olds. Given that both had what might be regarded as privileged perhaps spoilt backgrounds, the fear of losing that privilege would, I should say, make him rather more nervous.

In other news, I see next week the absurd "Jimmy" offers "Kerry a shoulder to cry on" and (of course) Nicola gets the green glints again. It is all so predictable
