I think they're about the same size. Hold Gate has more land with it but in terms of the house size I think they're pretty much the same.

Yeh the Paddy/Aaron thing is lacking recently. It doesn't really help that they seem to have replaced the Paddy/Aaron thing with Paddy/Liv.

I see a good few of the ED cast are all tweeting about Adam and they hope we support him on IAC

I still hate how little he was involved when Aaron was dealing with his daddy abuse case. I still don't buy Paddy would have checked out the way they had him do affair or no affair and no matter how upset Aaron was by Paddy cheating there's no way I buy that he wouldn't have wanted Paddy there as support once it all kicked off.


Yeah I still don't get why cheating with a woman is more of an issue than Robert potentially cheating with a man. Surely it's the act of cheating that should matter regardless who it is.

Maybe Aaron's just interested in and planning for the cake (there was a great little fic about this but, typically, I can't find it now). But seriously I'd like for them both to be involved because from what I've seen planning a wedding is hard work, and I'd rather they shared that out.

I think he's more insecure about women because he thinks he can't compete. He's got the idea Robert will need a women at some point to fully satisfy him so alarm bells will ring with the R/R situation.

I remember a time (because yes I am that old) when there were no soaps on Christmas day whatever day of the week it fell on but nowadays I'd say that along with the Dr Who Christmas Special and the Queen's Speech they're a mainstay of the programme planners arsenal!! We might even get two visits to the Dales and/or Weatherfield and/or Walford, or possibly hour long specials, depending on whether they want to bookend a different programme or not.

Except that Robert's cheated on all the women he's been with even his great love Katie. Robert's issue doesn't seem to be needing one particular gender over another so fixating on him liking women just seems to be missing the point. If Aaron needs to be insecure about something why not worry about whether anyone can really keep Robert happy for long because that seems to be the bigger issue than what gender they happen to be.


No matter how much I try I just can't imagine Aaron as a wedding planner. I mean this is a guy who thinks spaghetti is exotic food lol. I can't imagine his planning stretching much beyond a registry office and beers and sausage rolls and sandwiches down the pub after. I can see him passing all the planning off on Chas or Vic though because I can imagine Chas wanting something grand for her only kid. Maybe onto Paddy if their relationship improves.

Agreed. As much as I believe that Robert loves Aaron with all his heart. Robert seems unable to focus on his life and his partner for an extended period, even with Aaron, Robert gets caught up vendettas against others. I think that it is just a matter of time before he cheats on Aaron if not with Rebecca with someone else.

I think it's a soap and all people eventually cheat. However I don't think Aaron and Robert will cheat on each other for a long time.

I think the whole point of Bex showing up and wanting Robert is to prove the point that, for Robert, Aaron is enough and he won't be cheating. The lack of focus on his life and his previous partner was a product of being with the wrong people and pretending to be someone that he wasn't (by burying the parts of himself that he thought his dad, and therefore Robert, couldn't accept). He's a very different person from the Rob of old now that he's comfortable with who he really is.

I don't know I tend to think it might be Aaron this time who cheats on Robert because that is the more interesting storyline.

Its rather rinse and repeat with Robert. I think we know how Robert sleeping with Rebecca would work out. It would end up like Cain and Charity. If Rebecca kept throwing Robert into sexual situations he might sleep with her, but he wouldn't love her and he wouldn't stay with her.

Lawd I'm so tired of the cheating talk. No one is cheating anytime soon.

I dont agree that robert gets caught up in vendettas. He spent a good chunk of time this year on aaron and his abuse. Now he wants to help his brother and get back at the whites.
