AARON, CALLED. ROBERT. BABE.....

i am living..... all i ever wanted from Aaron was a term of affection and we've got it.

Today we got a public kiss and Aaron calling Robert babe. Yes Jane, yes.

She was and still is a massive snob, spoilt little girl so no I don't think she did. She regularly looks down her nose at people and always has.

When was it? I missed it

I need to watch that ep again. I feel like i missed so much. It's either me getting old o else i feel like half of those scenes were mumbled or you couldn't make out everything they were saying

Aww Aaron.. I was shocked at that little manipulation he had going on there, fast move Aaron. We can see it really hurts Robert that Aaron doesn't trust him but I suppose it's hard for Aaron aswell tho.. I mean Rob going for an over night thing with his ex would certainly be hard for Aaron to swallow, that would be awful for him.. so I didn't really like Robert asking if Aaron had a problem with that.. realistically of course he will. Bring on tomorrow, this is quite exciting even tho I have sympathy for both of them.

Amazing ep. I bet the Vegas trip is being kept as honeymoon or an explanation as to why they're both off-screen during the Summer

Well to me it seems like he's sayin "er, erm, you told me" but subtitles have him saying "babe, you told me"

Now I've actually thought about it...how very sad that Aaron must have come up with the Manchester trip because he didn't want Robert to go on the overnighter for the meeting with Rebecca. Tonight's episode really was in massive preparation for the big week Aaron's about to have, wasn't it. Setting up the ongoing story...

It would make sense for it to be "erm" given the situation and Aaron saying babe? I'd have not thought so.

Although Chas was an interfering c*w today she did at least have two good lines:

"Shut up Liv" and (to Chrissie) "Shut up or go home"

Yes i was quite surprised at that last scene. It coming out he saw Rebecca about them having an affair..then the quickly arranged weekend away to stop them spending time together...it all turned a bit dark quickly didn't it LOL

A good episode with some great moments, including Chrissie's meltdown in the Woolpack, but that last scene spoilt things for me.

The pub kiss was everything. So cute. and in public right when a bitch ex wife walks in. Its sad when Bex annoys me less than her sister.

although saying that it's odd that Robert wouldn't have reacted to it... but i guess he was too annoyed at his surprise being blown..

I'm confused as to when this Las Vegas trip is actually supposed to happen? Must say Robert's so far been unsuccessful when planned trips abroad with Aaron & I wouldn't be surprised if in the end something stopped the trip happening at all!!


Another thing, I don't think Robert should have let Aaron think he doesn't care about his Birthday, he could have come up with something that still made Aaron feel good on the day & still surprise him with the Las Vegas trip at the end. Instead Aaron was left feeling upset that Robert didn't care & would rather be with Rebecca & his insecurities & trust issues grew larger & got to him & now instead of being happy about the surprise you can see he feels bad about it & is still unsure.

I'm staying off here, avoiding half the people I follow on tumblr, and I am just gonna live for myself and Robert Sugden 😍

I think that Vegas trip will be their honeymoon. It also makes sense now a vegas wedding comes up seeing as they will be going.

I really liked that tonight I love Robert and I love Aaron and I feel bad for both of them in different ways.Loved Robert's surprise and love the hands on Aaron's face as always

It makes a lot of sense....

I assumed that when Aaron mentioned booking the Manchester trip they would go there for the night then Vegas would be from tomorrow? But I could be wrong.

Didn't Aaron say he'd booked a weekend away in Manchester? I think the Vegas stuff is saved for later possibly as their honeymoon.

So Robert is clever enough to realise that their relationship will be troubled if Aaron doesn't trust him.

Yet, Robert is not clever enough to understand why Aaron would have trust issues with his relationship with Rebecca, the blackmailing woman that tried to destroy the happiness of the man that he loves so much, the same woman that Robert said was 'obsessed with him'. Robert, who loves Aaron so much, has no understanding or instinct whatsoever as to why the man that he loves will be tortured by his friendship with that particular woman. Really Robert??? Really? I'm supposed to believe that? Get lost and stop treating me like an idiot.

Oooops silly me, I forgot Robert has just enjoyed a personality transplant. That explains everything. Anything for the storyline and all that.

I've heard of allowing writers some artistic licence. But, at this rate, the Emmerdale lot will soon be introducing a family of animated characters into the village.

It's a lot of nonsense but it is what it is. I guess it doesn't matter too much because this is not really about Las Vegas or Rebecca or Robert's love for Aaron. It's all about giving Aaron the plot involving Finn and Kasim. Robert, having played his part, will have only a minor part to play in that.
