I went to see my mother at the hospital last night. She has parkinson's disease but she is showing some signs of dementia also.

When I was watching Ashley last night it hit me.

She is doing more tests this week, her medication failed her so.

She is now going to hospital twice a year now. It won't improve for sure. This is my heaven and I can't wait to see more of our boys on-screen

Out of the two, I do think Hillary worse. All the corruption, lying, scandals surrounding Hillary etc. Hillary actually said a wall should be built a few years back (saw footage) & also said black youth were super predators. I do think if Trump had run against another Dem candidate they probably would have won. I think it was a combination of great dislike for Hillary & people wanting a change after 8 years of Obama & thinking they'd get the same with Hillary.

I am sorry Marianne but I heard the things Trump said about women like me. I have heard it for a couple of decades. I have seen trade in his wives for the younger prettier models. He is the mean bully who has hurt people like me all my life. I could never get a job working for him at his organization. I am not a conventionally pretty woman, I am not slim I have opinions. He wouldn't want to sleep with me.

I know when I look for work I am hurt because I am woman and because of my appearance. I know I am discriminated against. I hear the things some men say when they think I can't hear. Some of them in my own family. I think Trump has emboldened those people. I am very frightened for my economic future. I am very afraid I can't get hired now because people won't feel like they have to pay lip service to respecting people like me. It'll be ok to hire someone prettier or male. You may think I'm over reacting but I have 40 some years of lived experience that tells me I should be very worried. I am very scared for my future right now.

The answer is it won't come to much. They should have audience tested Rebecca a bit I think. Unless the idea was we're supposed to dislike her.

I'm pretty sure she was meant to come in at some point during 2015 but things shifted and she's ended up coming into the show much later than intended. Rebecca's character was created by one producer in 2014, but she's now come in under a different producer within a different story structure. Her introduction has been as part of Robert's quest to clear Andy's name by using the paternity issue to bring her in. This wouldn't have been how Rebecca was originally going to be brought into the show so her characterisation is a mix of the intended full on spoilt bitchy troublemaker out for herself and someone more vulnerable or sympathetic who's a necessary ally in the storyline for Robert and Diane. But she's yet to settle either side of that line, which is probably why some viewers are struggling to take to her at this point.

I haven't seen this actress in anything before that I can remember, remove the Robert stuff and I personally don't like her acting style as Rebecca, she may be excellent in another role but for me she doesn't do the daddies rich girl thing very well all teeth and hairdo !! (I know before I am reprimanded that we shouldn't target the actor but I have said she may be excellent in other roles just not Rebecca for me anyway)

I don't think its the actress. I think the audience would be hard pressed to like any character who shows up and just starts throwing herself at someone in a relationship who hasn't seen her in years. Even when I just had the spoilers I was not inclined to like that. It wasn't what I expected when I heard woman from Robert's past let me put it that way.

Its good news for Robron I suppose that Rebecca isn't liked. I can't imagine they'd actually risk putting Robert with her if the audience consensus is against her.
