Yesss, we have a cherry tree and the birds wait to carefully pick the exact day when they are optimum ripeness, then swoop. They're quite nice cherries too! But they grow so high we can't reach the upper branches.

It will have a netted frame over it,, it's next to the raspberries that are also netted, we grow most of our own veg and so have lots and lots of netting!
