Marcus is being so nice to little Rosanna. Far nicer than to the boys.
He likes Gary and Mark as well.

Yesss, we have a cherry tree and the birds wait to carefully pick the exact day when they are optimum ripeness, then swoop. They're quite nice cherries too! But they grow so high we can't reach the upper branches.
Ditto. My husband tried everything but we never got a single cherry

It will have a netted frame over it,, it's going next to the raspberries that are also netted, we grow most of our own veg and so have lots and lots of netting!
Good I wish you the best with them .. I have no fruit trees we rely on the neighbours .We should have planted some when we were first here but didn't.

Negative space & serving food on only half the plate seems to be the in thing. They were even at it on Masterchef Australia (brilliant programme btw)

I'd happily boil her head in a pot of gravy!

Thank you, hopefully as it's against the wall next to the raspberries, also netted we will be okay. This year we had tonnes of strawberries and raspberries, not many made it to the kitchen

He's at the bargain option Chompneys. It's all you can eat instead of eat nothing.

That would be a very bitter end result!

If you can, try and get hold of a walk in fruit/veg cage.. We have one on our veg plot and it's been a godsend. Stops the birds and the butterflies but allows the bees to still get in there

We had a glut of apples this year but they fell to the ground and either smashed to bits or immediately got wrigglies in them. I picked one up and something black and skinny started waving at me from its hole.

Managed to use some of the apples though, stewed them and had them as apple sauce with pork chops or with yoghurt. DH put some on his cereal.

He might not have some of the bells and whistles of some of the fancier chefs, but Gary puts out good, honest food of the kind I'd like to eat.

As I've said before there is huge about to be said about good basic training.

Hagar is late from charring his feta. (You've got me at it now!) That risotto looks vile.
