He certainly did, I still miss him on this.

Tomatoes and runner beans are ridiculous, I've got a freezer full of them!

We had the sun at just the right time, and the rain too. Made them all lovely and sweet The husband even found some on the plants when he dug them up last weekend..so they are ripening on the windowsill..

The one time we tried samphire (cooked at home) it was so salty it was like eating solidified sea water! Is it meant to be like that?

My hubby hated them until he tasted home grown. He absolutely loved the flowers, he's a very very good cook and loved using them.

Oooh we love samphire here, and try and have it when it's in season.

Ess don't cook it in salty water, and just really show it the water..it doesn't need a lot of water either.

The only one who doesn't do a regular restaurant service is the only one who managed the timings well.

Poor Ginge, ruined it with his floral pudding.

(I can never remember the male chefs' names - now calling the plaited one Hagar after tennis)

I steamed it, as I recall, and didn't add any salt. But the taste really put me off trying it again! I do know it's a form of sea weed though.

As much as I hate to agree with her, she was right.
