A simple version is a fresh cream slice - the two rectangles of puff pastry filled with jam & cream and topped with white icing as seen in a thousand bakeries & supermarkets.

We had samphirefor the first time the other week and it was lovely, not too salty but dors taste of the sea

My head hurt, my dignity was further abused by the ridiculous turban bandage a first aider put on.
The blood was terrifically dramatic though, like being an extra in a Saw movie.

The important words are 'very thin leaves'..they should be almost translucent not slabs of pastry!

Just caught up with the final show of last week. The three who have gone through are all of a good standard. There is a bit too much kindness showed to the young girl from Brum though!
I like the fact that the Scottish guy who is a chef tutor or something, is doing well.
