I had the cooker fan on full blast, the hot tap runnning full to do the pots and pans AND the dishwasher going... and yet the dulcet tones of Wallace hollering cuts through all of that. Le sigh.

Tut tut! Thought we were only allowed to shop in Lidl or Aldi on here!

(Am also ordering food from Waitrose this Xmas and , oh joy, getting it delivered!)
They've run out of the Heston Persian Christmas Pudding already.

I hope you are eating them with offal mousse and a pigeon sauce
Oddly enough, no. That pigeon they showed looked like it had just landed.

Just as well it wasn't a pigeon from George Square in Glasgow!

Weve gone through about 4 boxes of Aldi mini mince pies in the last couple of weeks.

Loads of them in store on Sunday. I shall wait to see if they are reduced after the big day - they are far too big for my needs.

I know it's been asked before, but how do they film this round / the judging?

Do they taste everything after it's cooked and do a for-TV with comments tasting of a procession of cold plates of food?

AS IF Shreks opinion counts for anything with the judges...
I think they showed him it doesn't.

Darn, I wanted to try that. It's on the Ocado site reduced to £10.50 though.

Try the Tesco Finest mince pies - one of the few I could find made with butter rather than palm oil - there is quite a difference in taste

There's already a 25% off offer on Hestons Christmas delights with Waitrose online.
