Stingy portion and doesn't look appetising to me at all
They're all stingy - all the savoury dishes are again very bitty with no really substantial helpings. Nowt to get yer teeth into!

Given the choice between some of this and the steak and chips I had at the Jurys Inn, I'd take the steak and chips!

These are more like dishes from a tasting menu.

Or a Marathon bar. I have gone blank and can't think what they're called now. Either way, I'd give that dessert a go! I love cherries in kirsch.

Had fish and chips at the Scallop Shell in Bath yesterday. Won best fish and chip place this summer and it's fantastic. None of these chefs cook food. They ponce about and have totally lost sight of what customers might actually like to eat

I'd take Gary's pud and one of the reasons is that it's actually a decent sized portion. Yet again he's made something I'd order, pay good money for and eat every morsel of it.
