They are really weird looking, I had to look twice in the box... You don't even peel them just wash them and then either eat raw in a salad or cooked. They lose their colour too when cooked... Never had them before but am willing to try anything once even tremor looking things..lol

At lunch, 2 courses is £10:95, or three courses are £12:95. It's a set menu, and I have the chicken croquettes, followed by rump (rare), fat chips & pepper sauce
Sounds fab. Thank-you. I will report back

Greg wants them to cook with something that's been part of him for many years.

I'm not sure I want to think about that one!
For some reason I thought they were going to cook with tripe.. Don't know why I thought that..

Gosh we're out of touch here in deepest North Oxon. We don't get more sophisticated than Pizza Express! Some nice pub food though out in the villages.

It doesn't seem like they are all making the fruit/veg the focus of the dish.

It is a fabulous place created as a Marie-Antoinette type farmshop and restaurant with absolutely no expense spared. The quality if the food is incredible but it's so up itself it's funny"

Yes, about 10 miles from there, often have lunch along with all the yummy mummies. No kale milkshake though! They do a good burger and chips. Lunch menu is here, about halfway down: https://daylesford.com/locations/kin...oucestershire/
