They have all struggled tonight ... they might need to rethink these challenges

Marcus has got his grumpy head on.
He really has. It actually reminds me of his first few episodes where he was a royal pain in the backside.

He did get better but now has slipped back into just being nasty and unlikeable.

That would be hilarious if nobody walked into the kitchen.

They have all struggled tonight ... they might need to rethink these challenges
No one goes hope just on the strength of this round alone and it is meant to be tough. They know they usually have to cook classic dishes, they should bone up on some basic fiine dining type techniques before they come on.

Still nothing quite as bad as the great spatchcock chicken massacre from a few years ago, that was brutal (and hilarious )

I think that they are in a bad mood so it's an uphill climb for this bunch.

This is the first series I've watched and I wondered if the chefs usually cooked so poorly in the challenge round. I think if they got an extra 5 minutes in the challenge it would be less of a car crash.

It was a great episode ... not quite the height of "sausage 3 ways", but great all the same

They are supposed to be 'professionals' but so many of them simply do not know basic techniques and then apply these basics to understanding how to do different dishes. It seems that a lot of them have just learnt to do complex dishes that are served where they work - that is not a professional!

Tomasina Myers Wahaca branches were shut down last week over norovirus. I had just eaten there the day before.
