Looks like Gary has this in the bag. Ellie runner-up.
I agree.

Barely a fault between the three of them.

I really hope that Gary has just edged it!

I think it's in favour of Gary with Ellie as an outside chance. Matt's food is great, but the other two are in a different league.

Quite apart from Gary being a super guy, how lovely if a college chef won. Fab for his students and teaching in general

Thought he was going to clear the table and say "take me, take me now".

Feeling quite tense - I really would love Gary to win because he seems like a top bloke.
Not been this tense since Will Young and Gareth Gates!

Absolutely, we have said just that. Hopefully he could continue teaching and visit all the chef colleges and inspire even more young chefs of the future.

Someone like Gary winning would show just how vital our further education colleges are. To see a chef lecturer displaying the skill and capacity to learn as well as to inspire is just amazing.

I really hope that he does it.

Best final for a while. Looks like Gary has got it but they have all done really well.

Very pleased for Gary if he does win.

With his talent he should be doing more than teaching.

For goodness sake - they really want us to cry don't they? I can't listen to this song without getting emotional.
