I think the chef-judges need a third presenter to tone things down a bit. Sometimes Marcus and Monica are so impressed by dishes they taste early in the judging that you feel they have painted themselves into a corner and chefs following on won't be able to match that praise. Gregg is useful as a "Yes, but..."

Throughout the series I thought that Ellie was being groomed to win - but I suspect she will get plenty of job offers as a result of this exposure. All three deserved to be in the final - but I want to eat that hunk of beef - it looked delicious! |

Just caught up !
Really glad Gary won, he was the best, amazing Glad Elly didn't win, i didn't hate her, just didn't like her attitude at times. My favourite of the ones who got eliminated was Rich, rock n roll chef And there was a black guy who didn't get through the first round because he was in such a tough heat ! i thought he was hard done by Has anyone who didn't win ever been allowed to return to compete on another season ? Like they do on Ink Master, Face off, Top chef etc |

One thing i have learnt, 3 star michelin restaurants definitely aren't for me. I would throw up at the food served at that place in Norway. I want really good high quality food but somewhat recognisable
I don't want to eat pidgeon, guinea fowl, quail, deer etc |
