Marcus being oddly very picky this series. I hope he perks up a bit. Now he's saying the red wine sauce doesn't work.

I've always been a Marcus champion, and that Johnny Mountsin incident is my favourite GBM moment ever, but, I'm not liking him this year

I've just eaten a massive handful of nuts and raisins.

Healthy.

I wanted a bloody roast dinner.

I'm thinking 'they are a bit crap, he's a bit nasty, hope he sorts himself'.

But I am WATCHING him.

Ive only come on this thread to express my outrage at what he said to that poor girl. Reinvent and refine a roast dinner, then he moans about it.

Aah, getting into true Cotswold territory there. One of our favourite walks is around Bruern Abbey, like the land that time forgot. I believe Alex James lives there (Kingham) and it's near Daylesford Organic which we visit to laugh at the prices. Used to be quite reasonable when it first opened.

If it's burnt then you've left it on too long. It has no place on the plate.

If you do see it remember that Jonnie has mental health issues and had a breakdown so he is a fragile person. Probably not in the best occupation for his health to be honest. He contemplated suicide. His restaurant later closed and he lost a great deal of money personally. Not my favourite person but the GBM incident should be viewed with that in mind.

Ah good, critics coming up. My favourite part of the show, also on the amateur M/Chef version. Anyone else think the amateurs are far more entertaining than the Professionals?

PS What happened to the girl with the dandruff? Did she go home?

I remember when it was cheap as chips - for a few months only. Now I find it pretentiousness. My friend runs The Chipping Norton TSet and has just opened a tea room in the town. Big plug!

He also had a run in with that Hollyoaks actor who came close to punching him :

Ellie definitely shows what good basic and classical training can produce. She has been taught well and has skills that will follow her regardless of the style of food she cooks.
