Sitwell's toys out of the pram. Kevin has given James a lifeline.

Bit OTT with the timing stuff. I sometimes feel that they (Marcus especially) are playing favourites.
Maybe but Kevin would have gone on cooking for another 20 mins or so. It is a competition and he knew what time was allowed

It wasn't nice of me was it? Quite out of character really I'm not usually like that.

No surprises there. If he leaves now he might be gone by next week

Fair point, and it's probably right he'll go but I'm still surprised they (apparently) took no account at all of the unfavourable critics comments on Ellie's dessert.

Anyone else think chefs seem to look incredibly unhealthy? Bad skin, dandruff, huge bags under the eyes, greasy hair, cold sores. Is cheffing really so arduous?

It's arduous and this is an advert to STOP people bothering with it.

Long hours in a hot, greasy atmosphere?

I think it is, unsocial hours, stressful, hot steamy kitchens. I couldn't do it.

Couldn't pay me to do it so I guess I ought not to critique appearances! Horribly anti social hours too.

(Watching this on delay so I guess you've all gone to The Apprentice! It occurs to me that if the US can have a new president who is a boorish, opinionated, over-confident reality TV show star, why can't we?)

Here's the clip. Marcus was winding him up like a clock and he just stormed out and said "stick it up your arse" :

Just watched it. Oh dear. Shouldn't laugh but I did. Loved the bit where Marcus is in the street asking the doorman if he's seen a chef!

Who was/is this actor? Since Strictly, I'd call it doing a Will Young!

It was Mark Moraghan. I think he was in Holby City. IMDB will tell you what he's in now if you're interested!

I was wondering if the clip of Johnnie Mountain was still to be found.
