I think they are quite responsive, probably more like gas than ceramic. I didn't realise they had come down in price though..

No thought about it as just bought a new hob but not all pans canbe used on it and might take some getting used to.
The main advantage for me would be the look and streamlined worktop. Decided on gas again AEG stainless steel not muchironwork on top and looks good too.
My friend likes her induction.
