They are not really j-cloths but kitchen towels (stronger than paper) and used to absorb some of the grease/oil

I don't know to tell you the truth. I think they are a different shaped bottom or something like that... Haven't really looked into induction hobs to tell you the truth..

Thought you meant ceramic pans.... moving swiftly on......Only thing I know about induction hobs is they don't get hot to the touch.
