I'm pretty sure that even Theodore - the weakest by far last night - would have got through on the previous night.
Probably. They were pretty dire on Tuesday.

I don't remember ever having laughed so much during an episode. It was frightful!

I agree that the past two nights have highlighted a weakness in the competition format. However, even with the show's format as it is, why the hell did they take three through on the first night? There was no need - they could easily have justified only taking two through. They've done it before when the standard hasn't been high and the the gulf between the top two on Tuesday and the rest was like the Grand Canyon.

A real shame for the two that went tonight. Maybe things need looking at.
I can't ever remember 4 being sent home in this round before, yes I think four, actually 5 could have gone home and that would have been fair. Don't expect the that 3 to survive against last night's four though.

Yes me too it's confusing knowing what time zone we are in.
And I don't even dare to read the forum posts on The Missing. They make me feel like my brain is whirling and eyes are out on stalks, like a cartoon character! I just watch it as entertainment and don't even try to conjecture. Last ep. next week.

Off now to my favourite French detective and hopefully a flashback or two of the delectable Jorn
How very dare you? He's MY favourite French detective! (I wish they'd find Jorn - but that's another thread!)

Nothing needs looking at, they weren't good enough. The other four were very good indeed and it would have been wrong to eliminate one of them at that stage.
I wasn't suggesting eliminating any of those that got through but both of those who went home showed themselves to be significantly better than the third chef to qualify from the previous night. I'm questioning taking three through then when the third best chef of the group was far worse than the top two and still pretty weak.

Actually, you're probably right. I think I'm thinking of the amateur series where they've taken fewer through. Still think they should only have had two qualify from Tuesday's heat though.

I do remember on the amateur one when they took none of the final three of one heat through. Real shame though on the two that went out, hopefully the four from yesterday show strongly again tonight

Not really a fan of the reinvention test, but hopefully it will get rid of Tuesday's chefs and leave yesterday's.
