One of my favourite fish is plaice, but it's very difficult to buy plaice fillets
Sometimes frozen battered or breadcrumbed plaice is available, but I like the fillets just grilled or fried
You rarely see them in fish'n'chips shops either though occasionally I've been lucky
Are stocks low?
Is it expensive to fish ?
Or has it simply gone out of favour?
It's a shame if future generations won't even know what it is!

Really uninformative thread title and not even a question mark.

You can buy fresh plaice fillets in both Asda, Waitrose and Sainsbury's right now. Asda Fishmonger's Selection Plaice Fillets, Waitrose Counter Plaice Fillets by Weight, Sainsbury's Breaded Plaice x2 320g. Our local chippy only has cod.
