Yes, all right, I know I said it was Carnival (The Last Day) by Gain, but that was before I heard this little gem. Isn't It Exciting? is the name of the tune and yes, yes it is! is the answer. In the first five seconds I knew it was going to have me hooked. You know, in days of yore this was the sort of tune that would be picked up by an Annie Nightingale or the like and turned into a cult smash.
But what really makes the song is the video. Shot in one take, I think, it's the most wonderfully bonkers two minutes you'll see this month. I've been watching it over and over, and I'm not a big fan of videos, generally; I prefer the music with no distractions.
