Infinity... when?
Back in August I moved in to an area of Swansea, at that time I saw BT Openreach plugging wires in to a new box ready for Infinity.
Waled past there the other day and can hear a fan in there Just wondering if anyone knows how long from that point Infinity can be expected? I had a great speed in Cardiff - and am finding being on a 4meg connection a struggle! Im in the Bonymaen area of Swansea |

Exchange SWANSEA MAIN
served by Cabinet 56 FTTC being Built, live due by August 2016 (it gives a post code of SA1 7AF as a double check). So they are obviously having (or have had) problems commissioning the FTTC cabinet. It appears you'll just have to wait and see - checking daily so you can get your order in as soon as it's live. Brian |

There is another website you can check.
https://www.homeandwork.openreach.co...get-fibre.aspx If your cabinet is still in the "Build" stage then there is still Connect & Activate to follow before it shows as Accepting Orders. Clicking on any of the stages gets you to the "Help" page explaining them. As ever, the timetable is flexible depending on whether problems are found during any particular stage. If you heard the fan operating then you know they've got the power sorted!!! Brian |

Have you actually tried placing an order or are just working from the "When can I get Fibre" checker.
Brian BT say there is high demand and no room in there at the moment and to try in a months time |

Not that I don't trust OpenReach or anything but I would try placing an order with your chosen ISP just to see what happens.
If it fails due to high demand try daily until you succeed. You might strike lucky with a cancellation or be first in the queue when new capacity comes on-line. Brian |
