He seems to have more chemistry with either Charity or Megan than Belle. I wonder what they are going to do with him in the future?

Yeah, I kind of like the character, but I wish they didn't make him go after Belle. Made him look really stupid.

If he actually needs to be with anyone it should be Megan just to get her away from that creep that is Tracy and Vanessa dad, they also need to keep him away from Charity in fact they need to keep everyone away from Charity shame she never left.

I never bought him and Belle at all. Maybe as a moment of madness, but never as a relationship. It's a shame they turned him into such a sleaze.

I find it unbelievable he'd stick with Belle after his life being ruined because of his affair.

I don't believe he was ever 'in love' with Belle - he was just flattered that a very young and attractive woman wanted him and took advantage, but I imagine that finding out she was a paranoid schizophrenic was a bit of a libido killer.
If the character is sticking around I don't think they'll have him dump her because that would make him even more of a scumbag, so I'd guess that once Belle is stable again she will dump him, leaving him free to prey on somebody else.

I think that the storyline would have been better if Belle really had been infatuated with Dr Bailey and for him to have liked her and been a huge support to her, but not taken it further. I'd had bought Belle telling lies about their relationship thus causing him to lose his job and his wife and therefore making him a permanent fixture in the village, but I do not buy him as a partner to Belle at all.

I agree with the OP that he had a spark with Megan and I cannot realistically see any future for them as Belle is so young and once her condition (whatever that is) is under control she may well change her mind about him; after all she is very young.

I just can't buy Belle and Dr.Bailey. I'm not a regular ED watcher but I'd be familiar with the characters. Belle looks very young for her age so I can't imagine Bailey actually wanting to be in a relationship with her as she looks young enough to be his daughter imo!

Agreed. Belle is a teenage girl and still very much looks it. It's made the storyline creepy from the get go.

He is ok as a character outside of the Dingles. The fact Belle looks and acts about 14 makes me question what he finds attractive in a women though!
