I thought that as well, but there was no way that would have been believable for Joe to do, so Mercedes and Freddie would seek to prove that Joanne forged the will, getting her fired and then leaving the village. Might have been better than the custody war with Sandy and whatever is going to happen with Mercedes vs Joanne.

I can see the kids going to Sandy though. They like Mercedes to be her old 'classy' self and having to take care of two kids would allow her to be that Mercedes. Shame really, as like Ste (who thankfully has been nowhere to be seen in ages), once she evolves even slightly, they take it all away and revert her back to her old self.

Glad Joanna didn't do that, with Joanna leaving wonder if she lose her job with the help of Freddie and Mercy having a hand in it.

If Kim comes back and hears the kids going to live with Joe's mother think she fight to keep baby Lexi being the last connection to her sister Lindsey.

If Mercedes has adopted Lexi and JJ (which I read that she had), how can Sandy take them? Even if it is in Joe's will, Mercedes would still have legal custody.

Kim will come back the actress still on holiday, didn't like the exit they give her Kim came back and takes off again.

Mercedes will do everything she can to keep the kids with her, she feels like a mother to them and will raise them now that Joe gone. Wonder if they set up Mercy and Freddie getting back together.

I can see Mercedes fighting and losing and then going crazy and ending up being the same old Mercedes, which is a shame. I would prefer it if she held on to the kids and be the mother she wanted to be.

Freddie will help out Mercy anyway he can with the kids, maybe Joe's death will help Freddie bond more with Lexi help him get other he feels about Lexi being part of Lindsey.

If Silas came back he be doing a big favour in killing Joanna.

Actually yes, that's true. In Corrie Rachel's character Natasha became a bunny boiler character obsessed with Nick. In Hollyoaks her character Joanne became a bunny boiler obsessed with Louis initially then Joe.
