New TV - Video Frame rates
the shadowman
03-11-2016
Hi All

I'm going to purchase a new Samsung KS7500 TV. Apart from the TV aspect, I want to be able to play my 4K MP4 videos which have a frame rate of 25 fps.

My question is: I have looked in the on-line UK manual of TV and see that the frame rates played are 30fps or 60fps. I believe that these frame rates are NTSC and not suited to my films. Is this the only frame rate played, or is 30 & 60 a maximum. Or, is the frame rate automatically selected by the TV.

Will the TV play 25 & 50 fps without problems?

Any advice gratefully received

Many thanks

Robert

It will automatically handle 25/50 fps as well, and if bought from a UK retailer it must do.

That's a great help. Thank you for your assurance.
