Is HO getting better?

I haven't really watched HO in months, yet tuned in for the annual stunt week and found myself really surprised.. The spectacle lasted only the first half of the week and there's been a decent amount of aftermath already.

I can see myself getting back on board if it keeps up like this.

It's massively improved since POV week a few months ago to be fair. They've cut the sensation out in most parts and stopped killing countless characters off for no real reason.

It's ok. I wouldn't say it's unmissable there's still a death pretty much every week and a million murderers walking free.

Similar story from me OP and same reaction. I can't believe that I actually enjoyed Hollyoaks

It's been better since Iain McLeod left.

Kirkwood gets slagged off, but I think McLeod was the main issue Hollyoaks had, no surprise it's got better since he has left

I agree with you there. Holloaks vastly improved since McLeod left and he work at Emmerdale has been hit and miss.

It has improved, but it has a lot more room for improvement. I think it will get there eventually though.

Or is it just the same

This is the best it has been in years. Like others said since MacLeod left the change has been noticeable.

Don't forget 10 years ago Kirkwood gave us Hollyoaks greatest era so the blame for the previous few years shouldn't fall on his shoulders.

Agreed. I think there's a lot to be said about mcleods role since the show has been brilliant since he left.

Saying that Halloween week wasn't as good as I expected

I havent watched in over an year but tuned in this week, I really enjoyed the overall balance, highlights for me was Sienna/Mercedes scene on top of the hospital, outstanding! I dont think they've had many scenes together so that was a nice touch! And great to have Jude back, the stuff with cindy was fun, might have to continue watching tonight to see what happened to the osbornes
