According to the poster I am asking myself if I am some sort of sicko. I had worked this part of the storyline once I realised that James had landed on Ashley's car. I wondered how Emma was going to get away with that one, then realised that she could manipulate Ashley easily if he HAD seen her on the bridge.

You wrote it? Congratulations!I know it's s hard not to focus on the negative comments but lots of people thoroughly enjoyed it! I used to be a tour guide and I do about of amateur art and writing so I know it can feel bad when you get one negative comment on something you' ve created, but you never please everyone do you? Well done for coming on here, by the way! I used to be terrified to go on TripAdvisor

For me, those scenes made for very uncomfortable viewing. I was horrified at how Emma manipulated and tormented Ashley until he was reduced to a jibbering wreck.

It was only afterwards that I realise how brilliant those scenes were and bravo to both Gillian Kearney and John Middleton for their performances.

what I don't understand is how Ashley is the only witness to a head case in a wedding gown on the bridge.
.Emma and James we're on the bridge for the guts of 10 minutes before the accident and we saw many cars pass under in the background.
surely by now someone would have come forward with the information.

There's clearly something wrong with me as I have not been affected by that scene at all Emma isn't really doing anything different to say Cain kidnapping and beating someone into submission but that kind of violence isn't her style. All she has is her brain and manipulative prowess. I actually enjoyed it It was Emmerdale at it's darkest and finest. A soap actually being clever for a change.

Emma very cleverly changed what Ashley remembered by telling him two stories and then convincing him that that's what happened. She joined them up and Ashley retold it once he was convinced. However, she's been captured on a camcorder that she didn't even check to see if it was recording, just to be on the safe side. Her wicked act is now waiting to be exposed.

Nothing wrong with you trevor, i think most of us are enjoying it too. It doesnt have to be all sweetness to enjoy a soap in fact some of the darker storylines over the years have been the most enjoyable.
