So since it's the characters birthday what have they done well this year and what do you hope they do for her storyline wise by this time next year?

I hope they can lighten her up a bit as a character, maybe give her a mate like she had with Sian, but someone she can just have a laugh with rather than be mooning over wanting a relationship!! Actually much as I'm not a fan of Rana, she would be the sort of girl who Sophie could have some fun with, get into a few scrapes, & generally behave like a 22 year old girl again instead of someone who seems to be constantly miserable & cynical about the world & everyone in it!!
One of the few good things about Rosie's brief return for me , is that it will hopeully lighten Sophie up a bit!!
Oh and I would like more interaction with her & her Dad, Kev as I think they've got a lovey relationship, also think her & Tim interact well, so basically yes, a more fun loving return to the sharp witted & funny little character of the 00s would be my hope for Soph, I loved that character, the Sophie of recent years, not so much!!!!

I agree with NDD, Sophie is just a sneering misery of a character at present so she needs some friends, a social life and a complete rethink of her direction. She is a legacy character and needs to be given a bit of life!!

They should find a way of getting her and Caz together.

Caz will be gone by Christmas (dead or in jail)

Thought they should finally get round to putting her & Kate together (they've been teasing it since their first meeting).

When they didn't have Caz lurking around they had fun together.

Maybe at some point she could move into Kate's flat (maybe before they get together) since if Anna & Faye still move in with Kevin then it will get a bit crowded.


Though I agree she should get some mates -her, Steph, Sinead & Rana are about the same age but they never seem to hang out with other

No way Sophie would ever get with Caz (I believe Caz is leaving around Xmas anyway)

They have been teasing Kate and Sophie for almost a year now. I'm pretty sure it's going to happen when Sophie returns.

I was also thinking Sophie will end up moving in with Kate.

Rosie causing Sophie headaches when they return will probably involve Kate aswell.
