Shane Ward has put on some weight recently, which most people experience at some point in their life, but the Corrie wardrobe department fails to have realized this because the clothes they put him in are way too tight. The shirt he had on Wednesday was so tight it looked like if he breathed to hard he'd bust out of it.

I they were always fitted but I think he's put on some weight and they are even tighter the buttons looked like they were about to pop off last night.

He does always look like he's about to burst out of his clothes. It's like he's trying to squeeze a quart into a pint pot when he speaks as well - too many words for the time available so he has to run them all together.

In all honesty yes😁 I have a thing for a bit of a beer belly (which is lucky for my hubby). I mean, not darts player proportions but a little bit of jelly-belly is comforting.😍 And Shayne is still sexy as hell.

He does have a gorgeous face and I've seen a lot worse body wise.
I have to agree here and coming from someone with a gym addiction, tight clothes are something I am an expert on!!
Shayne Ward is a VERY good looking guy, he also has a manly physique. He's got decent shoulders and arms, and despite having a bit of a gut, he's still pretty sexy. With the right fit, the shirts would accentuate his good features and hide those that are less toned.
I wear tight shirts for work everyday just to get nice comments from the ladies on reception but OMG they are REALLY uncomfortable!! Poor Shayne must feel like ripping them off at the end of each scene!!

I agree a tight fitting shirt can show off your hard work in the gym but it needs to be tight in the right places to show off your chest and arms, if you have a bit of a guy you don't want the shirt to be tight around the belly like Shane's shirts are

Exactly, I've always said the same. He wears some lovely clothes but they need a bit more give in the gut!!

Yes the shirts are a bit tight but I'd let them pass if someone would replace that middle aged ladies grey coat that he wears. I swear my mum had one like that in the 80s

I noticed this too, especially in one particular scene in the flat with Eva where it looked like his buttons were about to pop off!
He seems to be wearing slim flit shirts but without taking into account that you usually have to go up a size when wearing them or they'll cling in all the most unflattering places.
Also, the wardrobe department are probably on a shoe-string budget and are buying the cheapest, ill-fitting shirts for Shane's character.
