Max and Belinda EE

I feel this is about to happen.

Max will surley be compensated for his false imprisonment, and we won't be sure wither she is chasing Max, his bum, or his money. And we won't be sure if he is using Belinda to get close to Stacey again.

Should be interesting!

I think Max and Belinda could be great.

I have said previously that this could happen, i also think Belinda and Cora will get along well too - however Lauren & Abi have had little interaction with Belinda so far- how would they react to a possible Max and Belinda partnership?

Great, let's stick an underwritten and poor excuse for a female character with a vaguely misogynistic man who merely puts up with women so he can shag them. I'm sure that would make for compelling viewing.

Belinda deserves to have a bigger presence in the show athough i would love Kat back to support her.

What's she done to deserve it over the other characters you constantly call for to be axed?

Why is she underwritten and a poor excuse of a female character? I like her , she has a good vulnerability and lack of self belief along with the lively, stylish way she presents herself. And less loud and annoying than kat

I've seen no lack of self belief from her and very little in the way of vulnerability. Carli Norris is a fantastic actress but the character is the stereotypical 'Fiesty EE female by numbers' and I find the writing for her pretty lazy as a result. There's just nothing about her that particularly interests or inspires me, unlike Kat who isn't a huge favourite of mine but was nonetheless a fully rounded character.

At times you see doubt creep into her eyes showing that she is a long way from the confident woman she pretends to be. Neville destroyed her self confidence and she has gone all out to prove him wrong, but the doubt and insecurity is there and has been reinforced by the failure of her business. She want's to be someone she's never been but doesn't know how to achieve this. To me she is someone who has found herself floundering between two worlds.

Really? You Haven't noticed how she doubts her intelligence, business acumen and independence away from her ex husband. It's clear me that is what she has displayed in her troubles with her business. The actress is is very good and has done a good job of conveying that. You saw it when she was embarrassed that she thought Masood would bail her out - she didn't shout, wasn't rude and was very gentle around Kamil. There was a scene weeks back when she came home Stacey's and and Martins house, and I think Stacey Martin, Shaquil, Bex and others were all the there and she was bemoaning life again in a sweet, non aggressive in your face way and they all stood there in silence.
She's not 'fiesty' in the way Kat and Shirley are and has way more class and elegance than them.

Belinda does need fleshing out a little I agree. I wish Kat was around for her to bounce off.

You too Vas. And I do agree with you that Belinda needs developing but I think the same could be said for some other characters who don't get as much of a chance on here.
