Ah, you meant Lee's potential suicide? Personally, I hope it doesn't happen because it would send a negative message to those who has depression but I feel strongly about it because I lost a close colleague of mine from suicide a few years ago so it's one of the biggest reasons why I want Lee to exit the show alive. I think they should keep Whitney and Lee together but Lee leaves Walford to get help or he needs some time alone. We know there is no cure for depression, as it's treatable not curable but if Lee wants to deal with it alone, they should respect his wishes. Whitney loves the bones of him and I'd hate to see them split them up when she inevitably finds out about his piling debts and the possibility that he's been pretending to go to work.
However, I love Whitney's association with the Carters and Mick/Linda get on well with her and she is like a daughter to them, but I wish she didn't get a miscarriage. But it's great she is married to Lee and I agree with you, she's now officially a Carter. If they split up Lee and Whitney, it wouldn't be natural for one to live with their in-laws after breaking up with their partner, however, she has formed a close relationship with all of the Carters so they could want her living with them. Whitney as temporary landlady sounds ideal but I'd want to see Shirley and Mick together more because it feels like she is a glorified extra and she doesn't get enough airtime.
Agree about Dot's association with the Brannings because they consider her family especially Jack and Abi but I wish they would spend more time with her but it may be difficult if they have full-time jobs and have lives of their own.
