Two fantastic sing-off performances, but one of these acts unfortunately has to go regardless of that.

Great singoff performances from both acts but I have to back my own act. The act I am sending home is Maricel
I loved both performances, however Carolynne I think you played it safe; and especially in the singoff you can't play safe it's go big or go home. Also, basing it off consistency and who I don't understand why Maricel is here.. I am going to have to send home Carolynne (sorry)

I'm surprised to see you both here tonight, especially Maricel. Carolynne, you've been here before but to be fair, you did make an improvement tonight. I think you've got more to give now, something I didn't think you had last week when I sent you home instead of Janet. Maricel, the thing that baffles me about you is how you go from Alicia Keys to Demi Lovato 
Those voices are totally different and it makes me think you've got a bit of an identity crisis going on. This is hard but based purely on the sing off and who has more potential, I'm sending Maricel home. I'll let the public decide who they want to see in the next show.
