Last week they got to go to a trampoline park and this week they got to make their own dinner. I think I would've stayed at home and slept.

If what a certain former candidate said is true getting the chance to eat something half decent is a treat in itself to the candidates...

Remember when they used to get sent to exotic locations? I always wondered who funded those. If it's Lord S. I'm surprised they don't get jellied eels down the Old Kent Road. But more likely to be Beeb.

Yeah not much difference between Joe's cafe and the winner's gift.

The croquet one was laughably bad.

Like a single croquet hoop bought in poundland by a producer probably and a few glasses of Sainsbury's fizz.

The treats have been terrible for a good 4 years now barring the odd occasion where the producers feel like they're willing to put a bit of effort in.

Personally if I won I'd just kick back and relax back at the house, never mind croquet, free running or meetups with Sir Chris Hoy.

They've been a bit rubbish, yes.

Things I would enjoy as a reward: day at the spa (although that's a predictable one), helicopter ride over the city (hard to do with a big team, they'd have to take turns), fancy meal at a posh restaurant (that you don't have to cook yourself ), tandem skydiving (too much insurance risk I suppose), scuba lessons at an aquatic centre.

What would others here consider a good reward?

In the case of the department store task, a shopping spree (to a set price obviously )
if they had a day off after it then a night out at a London nightclub, Ronnie Scott's or the comedy store.
Perhaps a West end show, matinee or evening as appropriate (probably too expensive!)
Posh restaurant, (predictable but alwaya nice) or perhaps a champagne meal on a riverboat on the Thames.

What's on earth have 'treats' ever been doing in the programme?

They are supposedly entrepreneurs seeking investment, not five year olds.

Bizarre.

It was always a 💩 idea and has only become increasingly 💩💩 as time has gone on.

Scrap them.

They went to a sauna/spa last year (where we caugh a bit of Selina sideboob).

They went on a boat on the thames two years ago.

I don't mind, at least I saw the likes of Liz, Melody and Vana in a bikini.

Sure, but unless Sir Alan, when weighing up his final decision, is going to say "This is difficult, but Jessica has got the nicest arse, so Jessica you're hired" isn't it just a tad redundant?

Has any member of the winning team ever REFUSED the 'treat'? Asking cos there's a lot of them that I wouldn't be interested in. More than that, that I'd positively REFUSE to do.

"Sorry Lord Sugar, I'm not going. Doesn't interest me remotely."

"P*ss off back to the house then."

Wasn't there one incidence where a team won but Lord Sugar refused to give them the treat due to the way they'd won the task?

You know, I think there was, but I don't remember the details, someone else will know I'm sure.

Regarding refusal of treats, I think I'd have opted out of that anti-grav yoga in hammocks at the top of the Shard, last year I think. It looked like a trip to A&E should have included in that.

I'd have zero interest in any of the treats, I'd genuinely enjoy a cup of tea in the cafe more.

I'm so low maintenance

Bacon buttie or a roll and sausage and a good cup of tea would do me fine, compared to these rubbish treats this year.

To be honest if that woman told me it was raining I would go outside and check.

On hell's kitchen (which I know is the fakest show in the world) they generally get fantastic treats. Trips to Vegas, shopping trips, nice meals etc. One week they won a zorbing day on the beach. You'd be furious.

It was a task in Series 7, where they bought from wholesalers, sold things on the street and restocked using money from profits. I think Alan got annoyed with the winning team for not restocking much. Susan and Natasha had an argument over it if I remember correctly

They used to get things like a boat tour down the Thames with drinks and shopping with a personal shopper and gift vouchers. Cook your own dinner nowadays is it?! I've not seen the show for a while but bloody hell...

They have been getting steadily worse and cheaper over the last few years. At times I've thought if I was there I'd probably go "If its all the same to you mate, I'd rather just go to bed and catch up on my sleep".

Didn't they go to Iceland a couple of years ago? Now that's a treat.

That just sounds pathetic.
