Finished Trainspotting the other day, by far my favourite book ever. Hit me really hard emotionally, that conversation between Renton and Tommy at the end is so sad and heartbreaking.
Absolutely amazing book. |

Absolutely amazing book. Just finished The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins his first book with no Scottish dialogue at all, completely set in USA. It was pretty good, partly about a personal trainer who is like an female American version of Begbie. |

Just down the road from me there's a really grotty shopping centre, I've always wondered why we get coachloads of tourists stopping there but only recently discovered that one of the shops there (which used to be a bookies) is actually the worlds worst toilet from Trainspotting. They're about to demolish the whole place, good thing too.
