Favourite Soap Scenes of All Time

My favourite scene of all soap time is from a 2007 episode of Home and Away - after Alf ran over Pippa Jnr, the scene of Sally confiding in Leah on the beach about how she'd had such an unstable life and coming to the Bay gave her some security and stability - Alf being the biggest part of it. Then the person closest to her let her down and it's taken away her 'safe place', such a beautifully-written scene and simply nothing tops it for me. Sally Fletcher is the best-written soap character of all time for me.

There's been loads but one that stands out is Hannah's anorexia sl, the scene when she gets admitted to hospital, the scene when Melissa was in hospital and she was so weak, Hannah put makeup on her. Everything about that sl was amazing, from them showing us her battle with bulmia (sp) and the scenes where she saw herself as 'fat' and the aftermath were amazing.

That was absolutely heartbreaking.
My favourite is Alf and Sally'a goodbye. It is so emotional to watch and it came from the heart, I doubt there was much acting that day as it was so raw.
Another one I found really powerful was when she returned an episode opened with Sally crying on the beach. Alf came over and asked her what was wrong and she said she missed Flynn so much. Flynn was dead seven years at that stage so I thought it was really strong as soaps normally forget grief after a few weeks
