Gosh, you're a real star with the compliments aren't you? It must have been a great loss when you left the diplomatic corps.

Well I think the best act on SCD this week was Gary Barlow's eyebrows!!!

Don't anyone forget it.

I give the BBC some grief where I think it's due, but I'm with them over poppies.

It's little enough effort to put a pound in a collection box and wear a poppy for a few days.
I like some other motorists make a contribution each year and have a poppy on my dashboard all year round and I was never in the services.

"Lest We Forget."”

I'm with you DG. Hope people haven't forgotten that the purchasing of a poppy (or donation) is the important part. The money raised goes towards helping the veterans.

Hardly a loss as they still retain my services for an inordinate amount of cash. Ker Ching.

There were rumours that she was expected to have danced with Brendan, but they were only rumours.

If you watch the video where everybody says Goodbye to Anastacia last week, Laura says that Giovanni wanted to dance with Anastacia, and he replies in the affirmative. Laura actually says 'You got me instead!'

I also heard the rumour about Laura thinking she was dancing with Brendan.

I keep seeing on social media that Laura is doing other presenting, or should I say, hosting gigs, all the time, -even only a few days after her injury.

she is in the Netherlands tonight (!) with MTV- or something. I wonder if Brendan got wind that she would not commit the time to training, and as a senior pro, requested a change?

I detected a coolness between Laura and gio just before their "last dance". He was an afterthought for her.

If I were him I would be disappointed, especially after his debut year which was a big success.

I didn't take to Jay, to me his personality was false, all this so nervous and shaking seemed like an act to me, I did loved his Jive though. I never like Aliona and didn't rate her much as a Pro, she acted as if her $hit didn't smell.

Where as, I love Ore, I love his personality, he's exactly the same on BBC Breakfast as he's on Strictly. I have supported Ore even before 1st week while he was in training.
To me Ore is the whole package... a Celeb who has NEVER danced before, a Celeb who is humble, has humility and who is enjoying this experience immensely... A Celeb who has a fantastic personality who doesn't come across as fake or desperate.

Before anyone say something about Ore's crying... He even cried at his own wedding, there's a video of his mates taking the piss out of him cos he was crying.

I shall continue to support Ore and cast all my votes for him each week until he's either eliminated or raises the Glitter Ball

Its the opposite way round for me. I loved Jay but cant take to Ore. However, we all have different opinions and that's what makes the world go round.

What I don't like is people questioning why you support someone or why you don't like someone. Its all down to personal choice and shouldn't be questioned and you shouldn't be condemned for your opinion like some people do on here.

If we all shared the same opinion, Strictly would become a boring show

I don't suppose the myth of the second slot being the death slot can be laid to rest now? maybe it is on obviously fixed shows like XFactor and BGT but not strictly.

I know no one is going to read this since so much time has past.

But why lots of claims that there will be 4 10's all the time?, everyone know Craig rarely if ever gives a 10 before the semi quite often not until the final, yet people still forecast a 40
