After a climb last year, BB11's Keeley takes a slight drop back down the rankings. She enterred the house alongside Rachel and Andrew and walked from the house a couple of weeks later after injuring herself during a save-me task and became one of the many voluntary exits from that series.

One of the great what if's is what if Lynne and not Jade had won the hms vote ? The difference would be unimaginable wouldnt it? The effect on BB, Ch4, the many, many people affected by the events of that CBB and of course Jade herself... that one decision by those BB4 hms had massive ramifications that no one could have forseen back then....

Another BB11 HM next as after two years of falls down the rankings, Ife leaps back up and re-enters the top 150 HMs. I liked Ife and whilst she wasn't the most exciting of HMs I think she seemed a nice person, however didn't really fit in within the house. Her initial Shabby/ Caoimhe clique dissolved and then she didn't really have any allies before being nominated and evicted against Corin and Mario.

Keeley, the first, and i believe still the only hm ever to leave permanently due to an injury suffered during a task. Would have been interesting to see how long she would have lasted had that not happened

Up next our first new entry in the top 150 is Chelsea; I was actually surprised to see him ranked so highly by many, however he was mostly harmless and was a bit of a 2D caricature rather than a proper HM. Chelsea was one of many who knew an 'Other Housemate' in Jayne; however the storyline went nowhere. Chelsea managed to last until Annihilation Week until he became the first victim and voted out by his fellow Housemates.

BB2's Amma took a huge climb up the rankings last year and this year basically stands still. She was the 5th Housemate to be evicted in BB2 after being one of the HMs to have to face Paul and be ousted from the house. She is possibly best remembered for her massive argument with Stuart and also shaving her privates in full view of the cameras and housemates.

Oops, hadn't noticed this was continuing now...

Jade is undoubtedly one of the best remembered BB HMs, but from my experience of talking to people about Big Brother back in the days it was on Ch4, her success contributed a lot to BB's reputation as being centred around talentless dimwits.
It was interesting that some people (casual viewers presumably) thought of her as 'the nice one' given that she had a pretty awful temper. Stupid –> nice in many people's minds.

What happened to her in the end was horrible.

Another BB2’s housemate next as Josh takes a fall down the rankings after a climb last year. Josh was a viewer voted Housemate who entered the house in week 2. Brian took a bit of an imediate dislike to him as I think he felt uncomfortable, however despite this Josh lasted until two weeks before the final whereupon he faced Helen and was evicted.

yeah that argument really was something else, even when you watch clips now, it is still shocking how OTT she went !

...And another BB2 HM is next as Elizabeth completes a hatrick from that series. She is about as far away from the channel 5 era of Big Brother as you can get and was mature, well read and very different to most housemates. She managed to last until the final 4, however was evicted a day before the final.

That task was ridiculous. It should have been obvious to everyone setting it up that someone was very likely to step on one of their spider's legs whilst trying to run up the wall and take a nasty fall.

I thought at the time it was pretty impossible for most, but especially for someone as short as her. It was just not a well thought out task at all and should have been rejected as soon as someone suggested it

Jonny entered BB3 as fairly upbeat, however as the weeks went on he seemed to get more down and more paranoid. Despite this he managed to make it to the final and finished 2nd place runner up to Kate.

Next up is BB14 winner Sam takes a huge surge back up the rankings and builds on his climb last year to claim a position back in the top 150. He however remains 3rd lowest ranked winner though, however safely ahead of both Helen and Chloe. Sam was a bit of an odd winner for BB14 given that Gina and Dexter had dominated the series and he almost got evicted a week before the final, however in the end, he won the vote against Dexter to claim the winners title.

Meanwhile BB9's Mikey reverses his massive climb last year to dive down the rankings this year and back out of the top 100. Mikey was the first and only blind Housemate to enter Big Brother UK and managed to last until the final whereupon he finished runner up to Rachel. It was the closest known Big Brother UK winners results as Rachel won with 51.3% of the vote.

I couldn't help but love Shabnam. She was hilarious and energetic (if delusional). Her following Lesley and Emily out through the doors was a series of disasters from which BB8 never recovered.

She got a lot of stick for enquiring about whether she'd still get deals if she walked, but a lot of HMs start considering the world outside when they're up for eviction. If she'd survived she might have been buoyed up and keen to press on with things.

Instead she got the boot by a huge margin over Carole and Tracey. Thank God we held on to those two, eh?

Josie takes a fall back down the rankings this year after a massive climb last year (in fact the 2nd biggest of that year). She also drops back in the winners stakes as she is overtaken by Anthony and slips from 5th lowest back to 4th lowest which she had been previously. Josie was the last winner on the Channel 4 series and whilst she was an amusing Housemate, the powers that be decided to do away with all her competition the week before the final, meaning she won by a landslide.

Another BB11 Housemate next as Rachel takes a massive climb back up and reverses her big drop from last year. She was a late entrant to BB11 and entered alongside Andrew and Keeley. I think she got a bit of a rough time from John James in the house as she was a bit loud, which the others seemed not to like. In the end she was evicted from the house whilst being up against Dave and John James of all people!!!!

BB7's Jennie manages to take a climb up the rankings this year and continues to reverse her drop from a couple of years ago. She was one of many later comers to BB7 and entered as part of the house next door. She was the only HM from that set to reach the final where she finished in 6th place. A good housemate who seemed to enjoy her experience, however swallowed up in the final by so many strong characters.

Well...

Cameron was at 92 last year and in fact has never been out of the top 100.

Andrew was at 115 last year, which was his lowest ranking to date

But who's to say neither one hasn't shot up and is now in the top 10

Oh wow. I'm out of touch then! I couldn't abide Cameron! And didn't think Andrew did that well either

After a big climb last year, this year Federico improves again albeit with a small rise. He was one of the more outspoken Housemates of Big Brother 4 and with the first 5 (or so eviction) we saw all the bigger characters evicted. Federico was part of the first ever double eviction where he and Jon were both evicted from the house.

BB10's Karly manages to reverse her small drop last year by taking a rise this year. Karly was never one to hold back and I think some of her diary room entries were fairly amusing. However when she was nominated for eviction she became a big target due to her association with Lisa and her hold on the house. She was evicted the same evening that boyfriend Kenneth plus 4 others entered the house.

BB11’s first evictee Rachael reverse her fall from last year by taking a climb. Rachael wasn't even nominated for the first eviction, however due to the introduction of save and replace she became one of the many victims that series who left due to other housemates saving themselves from the firing line. She wasn't horrible at all and it was just unfortunate that Dave managed to save himself otherwise he may have been first out and the whole series would've changed.
