I gave Darnell his highest ranking. Admittedly this is a little uncomfortable given his treatment of Sara, but I just found him a uniquely interesting HM who unfortunately buckled under his own insecurities after about 80 days of incarceration. (Also he's only the third highest of the BB9 finalists in my list...) It made things more interesting having someone trying to analyse house dynamics, whether correctly or not, and I think he was basically a well-intentioned guy.

Early in the show I was hoping that he might win partly so that the UK could have a black winner who was clearly intelligent, rather than winning by pretending to be a moron.

Brian takes a slight dip this year after a massive climb last year following his appearance as a Time Warp Housemate in BB16. Despite a slight drop, he remains as 7th lowest winner ahead of nearest rivals Anthony and Cameron. Brian was a late entrant to BB8 whereupon he pretty much sailed to a victory and is (so far) the only Civilian Big Brother winner to enter the house late. Brian re-enterred the Big Brother house in BB16 as part of the timewarp theme; unfortunately due to the tag team duo of Helen and Marc; Brian chose to exit the house over the wall after being called a murder/ rapist by Helen.

After a drop last year, BB11's Caoimhe shoots back up the rankings and to her highest placing for 4 years. I thought Caoimhe was a great Housemate and could see through most of the bullsh!t in the house. She lost an ally in Shabby when she walked due to Nathan, however managed to get her own back due to save and replace. However after constant nominations and then fears over her relationship on the outside world, Caoimhe decided to walk from the house and was one of the many in BB1 over a three week period to do so.

Up next another walker as Lesley reverses her climbs over the last few years by taking a drop back down and a far cry from her top 20 debut. I thought Lesley was fantastic and when she finally decided to walk I thought it was a big blow. She was a complete fish out of water and I think most of the young girls bemused her whilst lead to some great one liners. It's a shame that Seany was egged on and did a prank on Lesley which ultimately made her decide to walk; especially as I think she was a better HM than him.

I imagine she would have been higher up if she hadn't left so soon

BB3's latecomer Sophie basically stands still in the rankings year on year. She was only the 3rd late entrant to the house when she arrived as a replacement for Sunitta, however she only lasted a few weeks in the house due to Jade not really taking to her and also fellow late comer Tim too. She seemed pleasant enough to me and despite being evicted with a high percentage I think was due to the fact she was up against Jonny in the vote who was a favourite throughout the series.

Up next BB12's Tom continues to climb the rankings and is his 4th consecutive climb after a drop in his second year. I liked Tom and thought he got a bit overlooked in BB12; he was one of many to seemingly be attracted to Aaron alongside Faye and Maisy. I thought Tom brought a lot of fun to the house and him and Alex almost seemed a throwback to the early years Housemates in amusing themselves and just having fun. Tom lasted until the last week without facing eviction, however was evicted the day before the final.

BB6s’ runner-up Eugene reverses his big climb last year to drop to an all time low. Although a late comer to the BB6 proceedings; Eugene eventually managed to finish as runner up for the series behind Anthony. I didn't mind Eugene, although at time found him a little frustrating and a bit weird in his lack of social skills.

I agree what Seany did was appalling, she was a far better hm then most that year, and is a regular poster on Ds these days and very much a class act

Tom reminded me of Jonny for some reason and Alex in thst year reminded me of Jade. That's the reason I didn't take to them.

You're right though about them being like an olden day type of housemate.

Tania continues her climb back up the rankings and reaches a 5 year high. Tania was a bit of an outspoken person in BB4 and as is the way with that series meant that as soon as she faced eviction she was out. I liked her though and I thought he eviction was a bit of the final nail to the BB4 coffin in terms of the latter weeks being fun/ interesting.

So our first new entry within the top 100 and also for quite some time too is Laura! Laura had a very eventful first couple of weeks in the house being a constant target for the Others and also her tryst with Marco. However I think she turned it around massively and a lot of the time seemed to talk the most sense. She lasted until a week before the final, however was booted out from the house.

I liked Laura. Shame the public couldn't get that first week out of their minds. She did very well both on the show and here regardless

After a climb last year, BB4's first evictee Anouska takes a small fall back down. Despite being in the house for just a week, Anouska is still the fourth highest ranked Housemate from that series and also the highest ranked first evictee! Anouska's eviction was the first nail in the BB4 coffin as out of those facing eviction seemed to have the most to offer the house... so she off course was evicted with 46% of a 4-way vote.

Anouska was one of the most unfairest first evictees, launch night noms, meant anyone a bit mouthy on entry would be a target. But anything can happen on night one, through nerves and trying to make an impression etc. You will never get fair or genuine noms on first impressions on launch night

Up next BB16 makes its first appearance in the top 100 as Nick takes a slight drop down the rankings this year. He remains as the third highest ranked Housemate from that series behind Jade and Joel. Nick was an instant DS favourite, however I think in the scheme of the show he peaked very early and was then smothered by Harry. I think had Harry not been there then Nick may have challenged a bit more for the win, but as it was after trading money to get to the final he finished in 5th place.

BB11's Corin takes a further drop down the rankings this year and to her lowest position to date. I'll be honest, I never got the love for Corin - she was basically a walking fake tan with four catchphrases. My one main memory of her is during save and replace where Keeley has hurt herself and everyone else is trying to help her, yet Corin is in the background just trying to save herself. She did however have a lot of fans, however was a victim of the quadruple eviction.

After a hefty drop down the rankings a few years ago, BB13's Sara surges back up the rankings this year to her best ranking for 3 years. Sara was a slight oddity in BB13 as she wasn't wholly in the insiders or the outsiders group and in fact nominated members from either side. She seemed to be gaining in popularity as the show hit the final week however finished in 4th place behind the three remaining insiders; judging by her % though she can't have been too far off the others.
