A shock next as Big Brother 4 fan favourite Jon slides down the rankings this year to his lowest ranking to date and is no longer the highest ranked BB4 housemate, which is now Ray. Jon has lead the BB4 housemates in every rankings poll and this is the first time he has dropped out of the top 50. I never got Tickle mania and thought him staying over more interesting Housemates was what helped to destroy BB4, however he had his fans... they just weren't out in force this year.

BB14's Charlie continues her slow ascent back up the rankings after a drop in her 2nd year. She remains as the 5th highest ranked BB14 housemate behind Hazel, Dan, Dexter and Gina. Charlie entered the Big Brother house with her mum in tow and became embroiled in a weird triangle with Dexter and Callum. She managed to outlast her mum and remained in the house until the final finishing in 5th place.

Wow I am completely shocked at this ranking, what a huge and very suprising drop! I personally did think Jon was a great housemate, quirky, different and not your usual BB type HM and I found him by the far the most interesting HM of that series. Seriously shocked he did so badly here, wonder why! Also I am not a fan of Ray at all - so makes it all the worse!!

Last year Ray took a massive climb up the rankings and back into the top 40 housemates, this year he drops right back down to outside the top 5. After 3 years of massive climbs up the rankings, BB5's winner Nadia takes a massive drop back down and to outside the top 50 HMs. She also drops from being the 7th highest winner to the 10th highest and all in all not a good year for her. I thought Nadia was a fantastic HM and I remember at the time her winning/ the final felt like one of the biggest moments of BB to that point just because you could see how much it meant to her to feel accepted. The support she had from about week 4 onwards was a bit overwhelming and she seemed untouchable no matter... It all went a bit tits up after that with her Ultimate Big Brother appearance.

I thought Jon's drop was shocking!! But wow Nadia to me not being in the top 20 housemates, let alone not being in the top 50 to me is crazy! Nadia was an absolutely fantastic housemate in her series, and I think a deserved winner, she was herself warts and all, and to me it was pretty fab to see a transgender person win a show like this and it was touching as you pointed out Yohin as to what it to meant to her. To see the likes of Stuart and Shell finish above her is bizarre! And yes I know she wasnt as great in UBB but Aisleyne was nuts when she came back in the last series and she still has her fans!

BB1’s Nasty Nick slides back down the rankings after reaching an all time high last year, he does however manages to retain his top 50 position. Nick was the first big bad... and to be honest he wasn't actually that bad at all, however he was removed from the house due to trying influence nominations. He later returned for Ultimate Big Brother and made it to the final night.

Helped catapult the show into the media spotlight, the first series probably wouldn't have been such a huge taking point if it wasn't for him

Up next BB3's Allison manages to stay static in the rankings and holds onto her top 50 position. Considering she only managed 2 weeks in the house, Allison has spanned quite a career for herself on TV; getting a job reporting on This Morning and participating in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Fit Club. Its amazing to think that anything like that would happen to a 2nd evictee these days.

BB13’s runner-up rebounds up the rankings and back into the top 50 housemates managing to recover slightly all his drops over the years. To be honest he is another HM I couldn't see the fuss about; yes better than a lot of the BB13 nasties, but not anything to massively write home about; amazing really that he finished as runner up!

I can't help feeling that Alison has turned out to be such a polished and capable presenter that she'd have made it even without appearing on BB.

I liked Rodrigo on the show and I thought it was a bit of a shame that he finished in 5th place behind both Charlie and David. After a big drop after his top 20 debut, BB14's Dan has been quite consistent in his rankings and taking small climbs back up. Dan was an interesting housemates and really screwed over by the safehouse twist whereby he faced Sam and Sophie (mr and mrs bland) in the vote and off course was evicted due to him being a bigger personality. Had he actually not been involved in it I think he would've gone a long way actually and he would've been a good ally for Hazel too. Since leaving the show, Dan has hooked up with and married Rylan!!

Awww sorry to see Nick to drop so low too! Nick to me is an absolute legacy HM, if it wasn't for Nick who knows how Big Brother 1 would have even taken off, he gave it, its defining moment withe the 'confrontation' and he was a super HM wanted to win so badly making up all these lies, it was just brilliant tv! Can't believe he isn't getting as much love on this as he deserves to be honest!


Absolutely agree, Nick deserves a place in the top ten HMs ever just for this imo

Another BB14 housemate next as Hazel continues her rise up the rankings and edges towards the top 40, not bad considering how hated she was at the time. She was a great housemate In my opinion and whilst the Daley thing was extremely odd and not well handled, I didn't really see what she had warranted to gain such hate. Saying that though she survived 2 close evictions against Wolfy and Callum and lasted until the final 7.

Also taking a climb this year is BB13 winner Luke who edges closer back to the top 40 after a steep drop last year. He remains as the 8th highest ranked winner this year with Jason still to come as a new entry and Nadia slipping below him. Luke was the 2nd trans winner of Big Brother and faced evicted a fair few times throughout his stay; he managed to beat fan favourite Deana to the win when she finished in 3rd place.

Another climber next as BB12's Maisy surges back up the rankings and almost claims a sport back in the top 40. She remains like last year as the fourth highest ranked BB12 housemates (in her 2nd year she was top ranked). Maisy was 4th to be evicted in Big Brother 12 and never seemed popular with the viewing pubblic having been booed on entrance and exit. However she seemed a good all round housemate to me and never afraid to air an opinion or get stuck in with a task.

Bucking the trend, Siavash drops back out of the top 40 after a big climb last year, he remains as the 3rd highest ranked Housemate from BB10 behind Sophie and Freddie. During his series, Siavash became a bit of a rebel and didn't want to nominate his housemates as such instead of Big Brother just putting him up (or removing him) they came up with weird ways of giving his nominations. In the end he lasted until the end and finished runner-up to Sophie.
