She wouldn't be the only one.
That ending was ridiculous and I'm sorry the judges were so lenient.
He deserved a real bollocking for that exhibition.

Because she's a pet. That struck me as well, her facial expressions were very distracting tonight, and not for the first time. I don't think that's terrible - these people are amateurs and they're focussing on doing the right steps! - but its unfair to pick on Judge Rinder for it and not Laura.

I do like Laura, she seems sweet, but that was a poor dance and one that probably should land her in the bottom 2. I do think Gio was trying to distract but it backfired badly, he could have slowed down a bit instead, as it was he showed her up sadly.

Was it Bruno that was going on about sizzling chemistry? Because I didn't see any. I saw more sizzle in my Bonfire Night bangers. Worst samba I have seen in a long time. Although must give a 10 for Gio's super duper batucadas

Yep, quite bad tonight and Gio actually made her look worse by overdoing it, he was out dancing her at first and then those solo spots while she shook her hips, it was quite clear she couldn't do it.

Bruno was very off the mark with a nine.

There were some nice bits from Laura but mostly she looked rushed and disjointed. If the music had been slowed down a bit she might have come across better.

The two "Giovanni" sections were an astonishing display - astonishingly good dancing and astonishingly inappropriate choreography.

Mostly I thought the whole thing made last week's tango look like a blip and that she had reverted to the week one "flip your hair while standing on the spot looking gorgeous" mode. Last week Laura looked like a potential finalist. This week she looks like a dance-off candidate. Funny old world, eh?

She looked great, but that was about it.

I don't think it's Laura that Bruno is mad about - it's Gio! I am afraid he wants to keep his fellow Italian in. He was exactly the same with Gio last year. But a 9 for that tonight just made him look a fool.

No rolls; not even 2 counts of batucada. Pernice had to do all the work and she gets a 9! What is this, Dancing With The Stars?????????.

He just look an arrogant arse with his "Don't look at her, this is how it's meant to go" routine.

I really like Laura , but that was not worthy of the high scores it got .
It felt like she was holding back , or was overly nervous of looking bad .
It just lacked any oomph for me . I think she has the ability but is just not following through on the night . Gio boy knows it too, hence him doing so much solo and faffing around . I wonder if another pro might have suited her better , purely on the Georgia May issue . A bit tacky partnering her up with the ex lover of one of her mates, and I can't help but think she's afraid of getting too intense dance wise in case any rumours start .Such a shame .

I agree with you, I know Laura's been hampered by her injury but I'm really surprised at Giovanni's choreo tonight. He's shown such confidence in Laura up to now and showcased her well. The ending of the dance should never be all about the Pro.

Samba was a wrong dance and the song was too fast.
I don't know why Laura didn't dance with a lower feel.

From next year, I don't want to support anyone.

Indeed, as I said in the live show thread when someone mentioned his love for Laura. He was the same with Vincent and Flavia's celebs.

Bottom 2. I'll eat Len's pickled walnuts if she isn't. Dreadful dance.

Laura is not a latin girl, she's much better in the ballroom.
Worst dance of the night for me.

Yes she should have worn lower heels.

Have watched it back and Laura danced the steps she was given well, better than I remembered. I can't get over the side by side section and ending being all about Gio and overshadowing everything Laura did achieve though.

It's so glaringly obvious that Giovanni's solo bits were daft that I wonder if it was a last-minute, ill-thought-out addition due to lack of confidence in Laura's ability to do proper samba or having had to cut something due to her ankle injury.

She just looked so very wooden. No oomph at all. Over marked.
Monsieur Artois, who would usually rather boil his head than watch strictly but was slumped comatose in front of the fire, perked up considerably at the sight of Laura, but commented that it looked like the Italian guy was moving a piece of wood around the stage!!
She did however look like she was in pain in the clauditorium so maybe had hurt her ankle again?

I can't bear Laura but have had to admit that she's been really good up to now ,especially last week ,but tonight her dance was actually awful and she deserves to be in the B2 with that performance

Sorry, just realised my spelling error. I meant heels.
I am really pissed off.

According to your theory, Ed will have to be there too.
