I agree. They started the series giving far too high scores. In my opinion, a 10 should only be given for absolute perfection, otherwise it is completely devalued. How they can pick up faults and then still give 10's? I used to like it when 8's and 9's were acknowledged as a damn good score and only if they were able to address every little nuance did they get a 10 (perhaps in the final).

Maybe scores should be split into performance/technical execution like they do in Gymnastics/diving etc and maybe even be weighted based on difficulty/dance content/previous experience?

Ok, I realise that is probably far too complicated for a 'light entertainment show', but the judges scoring does get on 'my wick'.

Danny and Oti - 9 - Good but I could see what Darcey was saying about the legs.
Daisy and Aljaz- 7 - Top line isn't brilliant.
Ore and Joanne- 9 - I thought it was a good dance.
Ed and Katya- 6 - Quite gappy but he was light on his feet.
Laura and Giovanni- 6 - Awful dance.
Judge Rinder and Oksana- 7 - His face was annoying.
Louise and Kevin- 10 - Brilliant dance.
Greg and Natalie- 8 -His best dance so far.
Claudia and AJ- 10 - Best dance of the series so far. Criminally undermarked.

Danny and Oti - high energy, the bent knees were annoying me but otherwise I loved it
Daisy and Aljaz - beautiful, charming, just needs a little more strength in the top line.
Ore and Joanne - oh dear, by his standards.
Ed and Katya - he is clearly incapable of dancing a full routine, but the bit of quickstep he did do was ok. Far too much slapstick filler.
Laura and Giovanni - started off ok but the music was far too fast
Judge Rinder and Oksana - an improvement, but a bit skippy and his facial expressions are so distracting! Bit of work to be done on posture as well
Louise and Kevin - loved it
Greg and Natalie - he lacks real poise and elegance, but his ballroom is at least miles better than his Latin. Not a fan of Natalie's choreography.
Claudia and AJ - awful music, too much choreography, but Claudia danced it well despite that
