3 Claudia needs decent music

4 Ore was overmarked, may as well have danced by himself

5 Love the Judge

1. Louise was amazing. Loved her dance.

2.Best show of the series so far in terms of quality.

3. Claudia vastly undermarked. Not her fault that the music was far too quick. She was amazing.

4. Rinder to go. Just don't get the fondness for him

5. That's all I have. Lol

Seeing as it's bonfire night...

1. Great Balls Of Fire - Ed can actually dance without looking like a plank, even when carrying one (no, not you, Katya)

2. Sparkler - Rob (classy QT with Fred, unless she was ginge, Len sort your jokes out)

3. Bangers - Danny (and Oti's boobs in that top)

4. Catherine wheel - Greg spinning into oblivion

5. (Pocket) Rocket - a misfired Claudia (passable doble, what the **** music)

6. Golden (*showers) rain - Daisy (okay viennese *piss poor song)

7. Traffic light - Ore goes awry with a stop-start salsa

8. Damp squib - Laura (no batucadas, no samba rolls)

9. Where were the fireworks? - Louise ( technically great but lacking chemistry/smoulder)

Penny for the guys...Chas 'n' Dave, mind boggling.

1) Judge Rinder is a 'proper' strictly contestant and I have grown to really like the guy
2)) Laura is beautiful, but rumours she is not a particularly nice person (I've heard it personally too) puts me off her
3) Louise finally stepped it up
4) Katya and Gorka must be back next year!
5) I love Len and will genuinely miss him next year

Its becoming an orribly imbalanced playing field. .

We now have

Some people being dragged out to do silly skits, others filmed in the dance studio, and some doing nothing at all.

Some people being given popular songs like Daisy Daisy that are appropriate, And others being given unknown stuff thats too fast, too slow, imposes an inappropriate beat, or is too loud.

Some people being given staging , make up , lighting and costumes for a role, and others given generic rubbish that adds nothing.

The marking is inconsistent with the comments too often. Nothing noted wrong doesn't mean an 8 or 9.

And the marking is inconsistent between dances - Claudia is undermarked for what she does and gets right. Greg and Ed, and others, are overmarked by comparison. They score the same doing much less. Louise is difficult to judge tonight - given the speed of the music she had - that was nothing like as good as Rachel though.

4. Ed is improving; a very good performance tonight.
5. Judge Rinder can dance and it was good to see him put in a 'proper' performance.”

Me too. There was more content in Danny and Oti's jive. It didn't consist of just kicks and flicks!

1) Who would win a Giovanni V AJ Show Off contest?

2) I think the Tessbot might have been programmed with a new default phrase last night.

3) And the point of the fruit and veg stall was....(answers on a postcard)

4) Would the person who stole the personalities of the female celebs from their dressing room please return them.

5) How dare Rob, Ed and Greg improve, entertain and enjoy what they are doing....this is a show for simpering ringers and low rent luvvies.

1. Loved both Ed and the Judge's quicksteps
2. Didnt enjoy either the samba or the salsa
3. Claudia needs decent music, that was dreadful for a paso doble
4. Louise really did well and deserved the marks
5. Chas and Dave better than the ventriloquist

1. What on earth has happened to the scoring this year? It's unbelievably inconsistent.

2. Why are the judges not picking up on mistakes such as poor lifts? Last year they would have jumped on them hard.

3. Really warming to Danny - I loved that jive. IMHO it was cleaner than Ore and Joanne's.

4. Loved last night's Viennese waltzes - how the dancers manage to get through without throwing up is a mystery to me.

5. Is it just me thinks Craig is smiling more and giving better (although often wrong) and positive comments?

1. Danny was undermarked - that jive was superb

2. Louise's AT was fabulous

3. Ore has plateau'd and is slipping backwards. Cursed by the brilliant jive too early on - much like Sophie EB and her charleston a few years ago

4. THe improvement of the non-dancers is a delight to watch. Ed and Greg are both wonderful.

5. Claudia's dress was horrific, and her music in no way suitable for a Paso. It's like they want her to fail. She was way undermarked and is a cracking dancer.

1. Excellent and sweetly charming choreography from Aljaz - that VW was perfectly fitted to a song that can't have made things easy for him.

2. Surprisingly little salsa in Ore's dance, odd because the bits he did were good if a little lacking in hip action. I wonder why Joanne thought she had to go down the skirt swishing and lifts route - lack of rehersal time?

3. Ed was light on his feet in the quickstep and did a good job channeling Oliver Hardy having previously channeled Jim Carrey - props to some unsuspected acting skills there.

4. Laura's samba started well, and she got the hip action, but half way through she started to look rushed and messy, and Gio's showboating was a bad mistake.

5. Louise danced an excellent Argentine Tango in the manner of a PE teacher going through a series of balance exercises with the headmaster at the end of term party.

1. Really enjoyed the show. Very sparky and almost no bobbins dancing.

2. If QS warz was supposed to be a thing, it didn't work. Ed and Rob both produced rather good routines.

3. VW warz ... Daisy won for me, mainly because she didn't have the rictus expression of someone trying desperately not to upchuck. Sorry Greg, you're lovely, but that was not a good look.

4. Surprised by Louise's AT. Much less taupe than I feared. Enjoyed Danny's jive. If it had been on anything but first, would probably have scored even higher. She and Danny are headed for the final I think.

5. For the love of all that is good and dancey, can Cloudier have a week when she is not inflicted with a song that mentions "yoof", has a bizarro beat/time signature/random noise and is at least distantly related to the dance she's doing. Also, will TPTB actually allow AJ and Cloudier do an AT? The way they carry on you'd think the pair of them were 10, not 19 and 22.

Haha that number 5 is spot on!

1. What am I missing with Ore and Joanne's? I thought it was messy, didn't gel and the lifts were awful

2. I love the judge, it's just Joyous to watch him.

3. Ed makes me smile and he is getting better each week. I loved the laurel and hardy

4. The the love of God Giovanni, what was that all about? Laura's face with Claudia! She was either going to cry or smack him one.

5. Louise and Danny just leave me cold, don't know why.

1)Does Bruno have to give Laura and Giovanni a nine everytime?
2)They keep going on about Rinder's face pulling but Laura's was as bad if not worse this week, reminded me of a rubber ducky.
3)Craig was off form last night, kept saying the same things over and over again and went from being nasty to overly praising most couples.
4) We get the point that Claudia and AJ are a young couple but it doesn't mean they have to have modern song every single week, it's putting me off their perfomances.
5)Louise really impressed me for the first time

1. Laura and Ore disappointment
2. Louise was very good, but thought she was overmarked.
3. Robert Rinder was great.
4. Liked Daisy's VW
5. VTs weren't as cringeworthy as usual.

3) Rinder and Balls got my votes - highly endearing and memorable who are both clearly enjoying it and wanting to improve.
4) I miss Lesley and it has left a slight hole in my enjoyment and interest this year - hoped she'd last until at least Blackpool.
5) If Claudia had danced to traditional Paso music then it would have been a knockout and break-through dance. ”

Or she was given the music and did the best she could with it. I thought she was fabulous but haters gonna hate.

I like your last point but if Greg is improving then how pants was he before For me, he improved a little bit but since the week after he did that one handed lift he has been terrible.

1. The music and costumes need to be more consistent for all couples- with a better costume and authentic music Claudia's dance would have been so much better
2. Liked Louise's AT
3. Enjoyed Danny's Jive just a tad too much swing and not enough latin jive for me, but was still a great dancd
4. wish they would drop the Charleston and Salsa if Im honest - disappointed with the Salsa this week - I bet Jo will be happy to get back to choreographing her own routines after two party dances on the trot
5.Feel the pros try to be too clever with the samba - less complicated routines with more samba action would looks so much better - the tempo needs sorting too

1. Great show so much better than the Halloween fiasco.
2. Ore and Louise were overmarked and over praised imo.
3. Claudia's beautiful Paso was ruined by that dreadful music.
4. Tess's shouting and forced chumminess is becoming an embarrassment.
5. The joy that Ed, Rob and Greg are getting from dancing is lovely to behold.

1. Because the judges started this series scoring ridiculously high, they have left themselves nowhere to go. There is now no anticipation or excitement about 9's and 10's.
2. I thought Louise and Danny were good, but not worthy of 10's (see comment 1).
3. I'm so glad that those with no previous dance experience have managed to stay in long enough to really show improvement. So often, they are eliminated so early they don't have chance to learn. I would prefer that no-one is eliminated until they have done x number of ballroom/latin (even if that means we then have to have double evictions to reduce numbers in later weeks).
4. Appropriate music and costumes makes such a difference. On the former, Claudia is clearly drawing the short straw every week.
5. As I don't get home early enough to watch ITT, I wish all the VTs showed training footage and not stupid visits to red carpets and markets....

My overwhelming thought of the night too

Loved Dannys Jive.

Loved Claudia and AJ despite music. And loved their costumes too.

Enjoyed Rinder. Enjoyed Louise.

Not fussed with Ore, Laura or Ed.

Judge Rinder surprised me
Notice how Ed is improving more than Greg
Claudia and AJ need to be given adult music
Oti and Danny's chemistry is great
Sorry but I don't know what to say about Louise.

1. The scoring is getting painful.

2. Ed has squeezed the range of dancing!

3. Greg seemed to be doing a trance, but his dancing was better than the last few weeks.

4. No real disasters this week.

5. Danny didn't create the scoring problem I expected, but it was still very good.
