Our signal has been so bad tonight. I think there were four large pixels all show. So lord knows how any of them did.

It looked good in training

No. Neither of them are natural Latin dancers, Jo comes from the ballroom world and it showed. Not fluid enough and I found the lifts awkward.

NO, imho was the worst dance of the night, even Ed's was better!!!

No - most forgettable dance of the night for me tonight.

One of my fave ever dances on strictly was Ramps and Karen's Salsa but agree good ones are few and far between and Ore's was not great and certainly overmarked

I didn't like it ... clunky.

Was there any dance? I thought it was all lifts. Hated it.

He had no hips and that bit Joanne said about moving constantly? Nah. He wasn't listening.

I'm sure whoever choreographed it will be happy to know you loved it The pro's don't choreograph salsa's

I'm still waiting for the predictable Ore v's Danny thread... who's Jive did you prefer ?

I love Ore, I love his personality, his dancing and as a man... to me he is the full package.
I gave all my votes to Ore once again & shall do until he's either eliminated or when he lifts up the winner's trophy

3 lifts, ONLY 3 lifts... the way you're talking as if there were a dozen

For a Strictly salsa it was good, but they are never much good sadly.
Too many lifts and not enough partner dancing, but I've thrown him some votes anyway.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who thought Ore's salsa was really lame! For me, he is often over-praised and over-marked and he comes across as disingenuous, but he'll probably have fooled enough people to avoid the dance off

This. One of the least salsa-y of the series so far along with Greg's.
I think Ore would have a good chance at doing a good salsa if he'd been given one!

There's plenty 'blinkered' the total opposite to this too.
Each to their own.

Wasn't my fave of his dances to be fair

It felt like that for the first 20 seconds Ore was stationary whilst Jo danced around him. He was lacking the continuous movement the dance really needs. Also I didn't think the lifts felt as effortless as the judges claimed, might have flowed better if they had simplified them a bit.

So generally, no, not a fan of that dance. He tried, but it didn't really work for him.

To bring a football cliché into play - a dance of two halves.

He seemed a bit out of it for the first part, but warmed up towards the end but all in all a bit "Blah". Practically no hip action on Ore's part, but quite fun overall (was overmarked though)

Some of them do. If they need help with Salsa they can get it - they get help with AT and Charleston but I bet Joanne's was her own work.
