Exactly !!!!!!!! People keep having a go at Ed but what about Greg Isn't it his time to go too ? Ed really improved. Greg isn't even entertaining and that great of a dancer, plus he doesn't seem to be improving He seems like a nice guy but cmon now 😑😑.

His was my 2nd fav dance of the night so no while he is still highly entertaining it is most definitely not his time to go

If it gets to the point when couples like Kevin and Louise and or Danny Mac goes out ahead of Ed Balls, then yes. It's time to go.

I actually think it's time to scrap the viewer vote. The public are becoming imbeciles when it comes to voting.

Ed Balls is improving, but not enough to send the good ones home. The sad thing is, Balls thinks he is now brilliant.

Nope, Ed is improving every week.

He's done a variety of styles and unlike the usual duffers, he's actually dancing in time to the music and getting all the steps in. His quickstep actually was a quickstep and he actually did what you're supposed to do and glided around the floor.

He is not as good as everyone else. That's the point. He is just "dad dancing" slightly better than he was before.

When you have judges playing favourites and overmarking the Cliftons to the point of irritation, the public vote is needed.

I say this every year but STRICTLY IS NOT A DANCING COMPETITION. It's an entertainment show - the public like to get behind someone who is improving or who they like to watch. They do not like to be forced by the judges into loving someone and they certainly don't like being told someone is rubbish that they enjoy. If it was a serious dancing competition, it wouldn't be on Saturday night TV and have celebrities in it.

But that doesn't matter, people like to see someone who couldn't dance but who is improving.

It's why the public aren't warming to Ore and Louise. They're both on plateaus and not really showing much improvement. Ed started off really awful but he has actually managed to improve over the weeks. No, he's not as good as everyone else, but he doesn't need to be. You're watching an entertainment show and he's entertaining, and he's showing that he's actually learning the dances and managing to perform them.

I wish I could see what people find entertaining in Ed, he bores the pants off me. Imo nearly everyone that have been voted out were much better than he will ever be.

He's improving more than Greg and if he's engaging people and entertaining them, why shouldn't they vote?

He was great.

I think he is great, obviously putting the work in and obviously improving. Huge props to Katya who has produced some great choreography and not taken the "dragging the duffer around the floor route" she is obviously a very good teacher.

I enjoyed Ed again this week, he is definitely improving week on week and for me he wasn't the worst last night. I think it should be Greg to go, I think rumours of his backstage meltdown must be true as the judges were overly nice to him this week, he just seems to be stuck in a rut.

I really don't think he does. To me, he just comes across as happy and pleased to be making progress.

He's actually quite light - and quick - on his feet, isn't he? Imagine if he lost even more weight than he has already - he'd be scampering around at a real rate of knots!

He appears to be having a real blast, and that in itself is very engaging, as is his partnership with Katya. It's worth remembering that whilst Chris Hollins was a better dancer than Ed - although by no means brilliant - his partnership and rapport with Ola were responsible, in my opinion, for a very large part of their appeal.

I'd quite happily see Greg (even though he's one of my heroes), Laura, Daisy and Robert go before Ed does.

Not for me. There are three contestants that I look forward to seeing each week - Danny and Ore because they are fantastic natural dancers, and Ed because he is such fun and he really puts everything into it. Ed won't, and shouldn't, win, but there are still quite a few people I would not miss if they left, so I'd be happy for Ed to outlast them.

No, I don't think he thinks he's brilliant. He's just having a great time and is surprised and delighted that people are enjoying him so much.

I agree 100% I fully understand that people can vote for who they want to vote for however what annoys me is when people say such stupid statements he as the 2nd best last night which is pathetic as he was at best the worst as he is every week. All imo.

I would honestly have put him in the middle but, as with the majority of viewers I suspect, I'm not a pro-dancer so I judge it on entertainment rather than technical ability. Greg and Laura were the worst IMHO and if that makes me 'pathetic' then so be it.

We're at the half way stage now and most of the bad dancers have gone, however until Rinder, Laura and Greg leave he may be in with a chance to stay on. Personally I think he should go as by now we should be getting down to the serious dancing and he is still leaning on the crutch of being a joke to support him. But personally I would like him more if he danced seriously. Last nights dance, when in hold, was pretty good and didn't need the comedy sections at all and I was VERY surprised they put them in unless Katya was told to by the producers ... or she saw he wasn't that good at the footwork and needed to cover for that. Anyhow I see him making Blackpool but after that his days are numbered.

Two weeks ago I thought he should go.. But changed my mind. He is the best of the so called joke contestant. I say joke because I couldnt think of a better adjective. to describe him.So apologies. He is showing improvement. More so than Greg and I actually like Greg.
