I thought Friday's episodes of corrie were the best for a few years.

The acting, directing, writing and storylines were all very good.

Does anyone else agree?

The best for a few years were around Kylie's death in my opinion, that's when it felt like it was going back to what it did best.

However Friday's episodes were very good compared to what we've had lately as the Nazir revelation didn't feel tame as I thought it would, it was actually quite dramatic and powerfully acted.

I also noticed the directing, some more movement in the camera than usual.

So yes, best for a coulple of weeks (although there was also Monday in stunt week which was very good), but no not in a few years.

To be honest , I didn't enjoy Friday's episodes. I found them to be annoying and irritating. All storylines were grim and negative and I was left feeling rather depressed.It was difficult trying to recall the happenings but when I did I wasn't happy with any of it. I just hope things take an upward turn next week. Oh and I hope this Caz/Maria awfulness is over soon.

The episodes surrounding Kylie's death were eaisily the highlight of the year IMO. Just a pity that quality wasnt maintained.

Who wouldve thought an episode that heavily featured the nazirs would get so much praise

Don't know about the best in years, as others have said there was a few cracking good episodes around & just after Kylie's death, but yes I really enjoyed those episodes on friday: the Nazirs' stuff was great, the Maria/Caz s/l gets ever more intriguing & I liked the stuff with Anna & the stuff with Gary & the Platts!! Loved Gail/Michael scenes as well!!

If KO can keep up that sort of standard during her time in charge I will call her reign a success personally!!
