I'm looking forward to the singers attempting to sing in Korean.

I am voting for ed

I read in The Sun today that Ed is topping the public vote according to a "well placed source at the BBC" Of course it may all be nonsense (it is The Sun, after all) but if it's true, maybe that hokey cokey dance is just around the corner...

Thanks to all who pointed out to me it is Salsa not a Samba. My mistake!
Will defo survive to make Blackpool though. After that.......Who knows?

I haven't seen it yet but I can tell it's already going to be a CLASSIC . There's NO way he'll be in the dance off next week . No way . Daisy had a break this week but I'm afraid she's going to find herself in the bottom 2 next week with someone else.

The BBC seem to still be pushing the comedy angle.

Let's hope the public get wise to it and it's his last week, but I wouldn't count on it.

It's going to be a car crash of almighty proportions and all the more entertaining for that.

Yes, production decision that Ed's going to Blackpool. The question becomes: what does he get in Blackpool? My guess is something straight and a classic tune, no comedy props, maybe even judges marks off the bottom and "his best dance". The character contestants route to the trapdoor.

I couldn't agree more - his pathetic attempts at "dancing" are embarrassing! I felt sorry for his poor wife Yvette Cooper when the cameras were on her when she was in the audience - she must have wanted the floor to swallow her up!
What name??

Katya is a genius. It's wrong that I have to wait a whole week to see this.

On my television, Yvette looked really happy and Ed (far from being embarrassing) was really dancing. Even Craig said so.

I've got a Samsung so maybe you should think about changing yours.

After Karen git lambasted for doing Bollywood instead of salsa, I wonder if this is the production team throwing Ed under the bus

I just Googled "gangnam dancing" (had no idea what it was/is)... Surely even Ed can't survive that

Will she have a lot of choice in the choreography? It will have to have the hands and skipping thing in.

Worry not. Ed will wholeheartedly embrace it and be just fine.

I agree that Blackpool probably will be Ed's swansong and his best dance but I doubt BIB it as the occasion is always hugely magnified meaning props and possibly, guest dancers & extras galore.

I guess he will get a Blackpool VW like a recent comedy duffer:

That is what I saw on my television. I was impressed by Ed's quickstep. He, Robert and Greg have improved, all three having been non-dancers, so I understand.

I was hoping he was joking about this, but knowing he was almost certainly not. My view is this is taking it too far. Just let him be funny naturally. There's really no need to be so contrivedly ridiculous about it.

Can't wait to see it! No-one can ever say Ed is boring. And I say that as someone who couldn't bear him as a politician. His attitude and personality on SCD has been a revelation to me.
